This is a new MANDATORY release for all desktop wallets, masternodes and fundamentalnodes, with improvements to the staking consensus protocols.

VITAE is now listed on EXMO and trading in the BTC, USDT and ETH market.

EXMO is a British cryptocurrency exchange. EXMO has an estimated 1.8 million users, 8 fiat currencies (USD, EUR, GBP, RUB, PLN, UAH, KZT, TRY), SEPA, SWIFT, credit/debit cards on the platform. New wallet instructions:
Backup your wallet.dat and Backups folder in multiple places.
Vitae folder should only have theses items:
vitae.conf (with only enablezeromint=0 inside, all addnodes should be removed)
wallet.dat
masternode.conf (only if you have masternodes)
blocks
chainstate
indexes
After a full sync there is a possibility that balances might look incorrect. If so, add this command to your vitae.conf and restart the wallet. This will force the wallet to remove and re-download all your previous transactions. Afterwards, remember to remove the command: zapwallettxes=1

If you are asked to Encrypt your wallet, do not do it unless you are a new user. If you are not a new user, follow these directions: Open Debug Console, Enter walletpassphrase "password" 2
Replace your wallet password between the quotations and hit enter. This will grant you access to your previous wallet.

This is a new release to fix fork height in the network. If you are running Vitae Qt Wallet, please upgrade to version 0-20.1 to ensure that you are connected to the proper mainnet blockchain.

Status of Vitae wallets:

Vitae Core Wallet 4.7 (updated: January 2022)

The original blockchain for the token and Vitae.co Social Rewards Website. As Vitae.co is involved with a Belgian court case (see https://wearevitae.org/), all related exchanges and developers have dropped support for further development of the original blockchain. The court case is ongoing so the only thing to do is wait for Vitae.co to return.

The Masternode and Supernode hosting is no longer supported by Nodehub.io. STEX no longer supports this chain due to its lack of support for past forking issues. Supernodes do still function after wallet sync.

Vitae Core Wallet 0.20.1 (March 2022)

Created by the Vitae founder Michael Bradley. His original vision did not end with a social media platform. There are further plans for the token on Rain-chat and Solana based DeFi platforms. Michael and the original developer of the token created a more diverse, secure and stable replacement wallet. It is Mr. Bradley’s hope that Vitae.co will adopt this new wallet and chain in the future.

This wallet requires that a fork of the original Vitae blockchain be used. STEX exchange is currently supporting this chain of Vitae token. Masternode hosting is supported by Nodehub.io. Supernodes are working and no longer need hosting as they are hard-coded into the new wallet.

Vitae Core Wallet 0.20.1 (March 2022)

Supernode on old chain (Vitae QT version 4.7.0 or earlier) is not functioning even after wallet synced.

After running the wallet several times, it was observed that Vitae supernode is not working in the original chain as opposed to the original claim that supernode would function after the wallet synchronized. However, supernode on version 0.20.1 (released by Michael Weber) functions when wallet is fully synced. Version 0.20.1 is an update to the original chain to address the forking issues: it is hard-coded in the wallet and does not need third-party hosting services.
