My question is that, if someone doing bounty without spamming the forum . His also has intentions to make good post as much as he can. Does this effect his reputation.

We have a lot of reputable members in the forums who participate in signature campaigns and that didn't change anything about their reputation. So to answer your question, no, not necessarily. "not spamming" the forums is not enough though, your posts must be constructive, helpful and also adds something to the discussion.

bounties and sig campaigns are two different things though...
personally I wear a sig now and see nothing wrong with it as long as people are constructive/helpful or amusing with the posts - "Great project" "when moon" etc etc are not helpful posts.

Currently, I am also doing a signature campaign and two bounty campaigns: IOU, BQTI have done another bounty in the past: CreditsI never had any problem with merit or reputation. FYI, I built up my account from 0 merits to all the way till this status. Doing bounty and joining signature should not effect earning merit or harming reputation 1. 1 If you are not knowingly promoting anything which can harm the community then you should be fine.

I would say that bounties can affect your reputation and number of Merits that you will get. Some people before awarding user with Merit check his post history. If he will see lot of bounty reports in your post history, it's likely that he wont give Merit. If you don't want to be callet Twitbook spamner, before joining social media campaign be sure that reports should be made in Google forms. As mdayonliner said, participation in signature campaigns shouldn't affect your reputation. If you are making good posts, you will receive Merit as every normal user of Bitcointalk. No matter you wear signature or no. Just be sure that you don't advertise scams or something illegal in your signature, otherwise you will get big red tag under your username.

I don't understand why bounty hunters don't just delete their old bounty report posts that way their post histories would look a bit cleaner, less useless reports and more discussion posts after all, those reports are no use after the bounty project finished or the project turned scam

You can see a lot of legendary members of the forum participating in the signature bounty. So I am not sure how that would effect it. To me it does not matter. If you think one specific bounty is doing a good job in terms of the token idea, why shouldn't you advertise for them

I think it may have an impact, yes. "May" because it doesnt matter if someone wears a signature or not but the history of posts matters to me. Before I give merits to newbies or Jr. Members I tend to have a glance at the posting history. If its full of repetitions, "when moon" and "very nice project sir" posts I usually stay away from giving merits

I'd suggest OP to join article/video/infographic campaign, you won't spam this forum by doing those (maybe just 1-2 post as a proof of authentication) unless you can maintain your post quality which is required for the signature campaign. As long as you don't promote a scam project you'll do good.
Just forget about social media bounties, it ain't worth your time and effort.

I'll tell you so! When you participate in a bounty company, your messages should not only be in the ANN section, but also in the help section, meta and other sections that do not relate to bounty companies. This forum is intended not only for bounty companies, but in General for discussion of important news. Discussion of issues related to bitcoin and blockchain. There are a lot of sections. But bounty hunters just fucked up 3 sections of their messages: Altcoins, speculation, economy.

I don't understand why bounty hunters don't just delete their old bounty report posts that way their post histories would look a bit cleaner, less useless reports and more discussion posts after all, those reports are no use after the bounty project finished or the project turned scam Because it requires effort to go through your post history and delete every single one which most of them lack. Or maybe they don't want to lose activity since their history is made up of bounty reports . Others do delete them only after they get tagged a DT member. There are a lot of sections. But bounty hunters just fucked up 3 sections of their messages: Altcoins, speculation, economy.
Those 3 are the most active section due to the rules of the bounty managers. They're the ones behind the spam if their rules weren't that strict these boards wouldn't get spammed every minute .

Normally, it shouldn't affect your reputation once you have quality posts and you get merits for them as you move up the ranks.

According to your post title you are asking bounty will effect on merit or reputation. Just I want to clear one thing, merit and reputation is totally different. If you just joined on forum and doing bounty campaign than how you expect merit on bounty post. If you made useful and high quality post than obviously you will earn merit even you are doing bounty. But lot of reputed member discourage to send merit for bounty hunters. Now come to the reputation, if you have reputation than there is fair of lose. If you aren't reputed member's on this forum than why you worried about it ? You can see me I am a high merited member but I am not still I can't say I am a reputed member for forum. Bounty campaign and signature campaign is different. Even you are reputed member than signature will not effect on your reputation. Because reputed member can't be spammer. Even I believe doing bounty also not effect on your reputation if you are not promoting scam project. As I told you, merit might be effect by bounty report for newbie. Because merit depend on sender mind. It's true that lot of reputed member avoid bounty hunters.

Doing ONLY bounty is bad if you are trying to get some merit. If you do bounty and also make good posts it is not that bad.

Although it might seem like a positive thing that before giving merits the posting history is checked too, but in my opinion this will lead to creating alts. People aware of this merit background check might turn to radical methods by creating a new account for bounty reports to keep the one used for signature campaigns clean (which is obviously against the rules).
A question to Legendary/Hero etc. members: what do you consider spamming? Are a few social media bounty reports allowed, or one is enough to change your mind on giving merits to an otherwise constructive post?

It won't affect anything unless you're advertising a scam project and help scammers to scam more people and you'll get neg trust ( red trust ) that will have a great impact to your account.

yep. that's me. even if one post by a member is great if every single other one is nothing but a bunch of twitter and facebook links i'm gonna shop elsewhere. i respect the one decent post. points are lost at the endless list of crap surrounding it.
