This is a really dumb idea considering Starbucks is already planning on accepting Bitcoin as a means of payment. If you want to shill Electroneum with a publicity stunt it should be one that provides a bit of substance, similar to the Bitcoin pizza guy you are imitating.

And what would you suggest?    The hallmark of GOOD criticism is being able to provide a better alternative to the parts that are wrong.

Correct me where I am wrong,  and I will gladly incorporate your contributions,  that's what community is for.

Besides,  with the One hour payment times,  and extremely high fee.  No one is buying Coffee with bitcoin anytime soon,  and Lightning network is a long long way away,  but that's OK, Bitcoin isn't a transactional currency for little things like groceries and buying coffee. Bitcoin is the Gold standard,  the Store of value Crypto.  It's the gold in Crypto fort nox.

ETN has all the pieces to do what I need it to do,  for this test trial RIGHT now.    And is a legitimate company here in the good old United Kingdom with a doorstep and accountable leadership.

Have you been living under a rock? Starbucks is a part of the consortium alongside New York Stock Exchange that is pushing Bakkt forward. It is a tier 2 solution that is right around the corner...

I don't think Electroneum has much to offer beyond its role as a gimmicky shitcoin, but since it's the "mobile-centric" shitcoin, perhaps you should provide a set-up where you credit google play/App Store accounts for electroneum.

And I don't know why you are referencing the speed of Bitcoin transactions while trying to promote Electroneum as a quicker alternative by acting as a manual payment processor?

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

That's not a bad idea, Thankyou!   worth a punt anyway....

Why not?  I want to see THIS: https://youtu.be/G9kfftkWJy8?t=48 being used in store by customers before it is even officially on their system,  it's quick and easy for customers to pay,  and they get their coffee as fast as when paying with Fiat.

Just because I'm acting as a layer between Starbucks and the customer doesn't mean they are going to have to wait any longer for their coffee,  should be pretty much straightforward from their side.  Scan the QR code,  Pay, Sit down and they get their free coffee brought to them about as fast as if they had ordered from the counter themselves.

Shillers will never try to understand about what are you talking about and they will always underestimate other coin.

It's a "shitcoin" that's put itself right where it needs to be to have the best shot at mass adoption out of most other cryptos.
https://medium.com/coinmonks/the-electroneum-ecosystem-411b46a1c1b6

It's a coin made for the 99% ,  and like with VHS vs Betamax,  that's where success lies.
You look down on it because you're the 1% it's not aimed at.

Besides, All cryptos are shitcoins right now, no one's figured out how to make a decentralized ledger that ISN'T one yet.

It's still a case of  Secure/Fast/Decentralized,  pick any two.

I'm yet to find a Cryptocurrency that Is not a shitcoin,   and believe me I've searched. There ARE some better disguised than others under layers of technical obfuscation,  but all have intractable flaws that lead them to become either centralized over time,  or Oligarchies controlled by a small group of whales.

I've found a "few" projects with real potential for a breakthrough,  but they involve the creation of a whole new programming language and are no where near guaranteed to achieve the holy trinity of Secure/fast AND decentralized,  so for now we make do with shitcoins,  current tech right now is secondary (as they are ALL broken) to focusing on projects that have gone full bore on reaching the masses with Crypto by positioning themselves correctly.

And out of those few,  the one that swaps in their placeholder blockchain for the "Secure/Fast AND decentralized" ledger tech the quickest (IF and WHEN it is developed and released)  will be the coin that rises in that generation of Crypto.
