It's not prediction it's only statistics for last years. Every bull market bitcoin grow approximently 16x

2011 year : (1$-30$)
2013 year: (100$ - 1149$)
2017 year : (1000$ - 20000$)

Last bull market was ended in january and on the statistic bull market continues approximently  one year. Bearish maret on the statistic continues approximently 10 mounth and if look on past periods, next bull market begin in october - december 2018. Therefore based on past years  can to make computation next price bitcoin:
2020 year6500$ x 16 = 104 000$ ?

Guys it's only statics as per past years, don't accept this how accurate prediction  future.

These are just the information and calculations you make based on your judgment. You should give more information on Bitcoin's development process, which is becoming more popular but has so many challenges it has to overcome. It takes more time to reach your target.

If your calculations are correct, bitcoin will have a cost of $ 100,000 in 2025.

Now bitcoin will fall to 4,500 dollars and the probability of price growth in the coming year is unlikely

No one can say when will it hit $100,000. Yes there are predictions everywhere but to be honest, no one can tell. We cannot tell the exact date and time when will it happen, we are just relying about our computation base on what is happening right now and the past.

to reach $ 100,000 it is very difficult to remember that bitcoin is now criticized by many countries because it is to reach $ 100,000, bitcoin must be legalized by all countries and must be used as a currency in all countries

It all sounds good and statistics can work in certain situations and for some
calculations but there is a factor which cannot be calculated, human emotions!

I believe there will be further adoption in time but anything can happen.

You are now giving an analogy of past years. Perhaps this price will be by 2020.
I once met a forum thread in which the author spoke. That in 2014, bitcoin after the fall took 54 weeks that the rate began to align and went up. As of 2018, only 33 weeks have passed since the fall at the beginning of the year. Therefore, in the near future it will be possible to increase bitcoin to those marks that you say. But these are just dreams and guesses.

This is your own personal analysis and assumptions judging from past bitcoin price movement, but the point I will disagree with is where you predicted $104000 price in 2020 because since the price of bitcoin is highly volatile it will be a false to state an exact amount bitcoin will be in the future.

Early to mid 2021

I'm sure that the growth of bitcoin by 2021 will force the community to re-believe in crypto-currencies. In Japan, it is already possible to pay for goods and services with bitcoin. In a couple of years, I hope Europe will legalize crypto-currencies

First of all I want to say that the infographics that you have attached, it is really very useful. Thank you, sir. Absolutely no one doubts that bitcoin will grow in the future. That's understandable. What kind of price will bitcoin tell me is extremely difficult and no one knows for sure. Therefore, these are only our own assumptions.
It's like Forex or binary options. You can't know 100%. You risk and your risk is justified.Sometimes you're wrong.

I believe that experience has clearly shown us that it is useless to speculate with the future price of bitcoin based only on the historical performance of the market, even more so if we take into account that the conditions of development, popularity and market penetration at present are substantially different those that prevailed five, three or one year ago. Nowadays no one is surprised by the potential of cryptocurrencies, and I believe that all serious investors have enough information about what bitcoin means, and the effects of the FOMO have already been overcome.

Therefore, it is highly probable that from the painful awakening that has meant this year for the crypto market, maybe we could expect an upward trend in the medium term but in a much slower way than we had observed in the previous years, for I doubt very much that at any given time the price of bitcoin will come to be quoted far beyond $50K in about five years.

hmm, this is really great, but for bitcoin to hit such price, it will take much longer time than I ever think..
it may take up to 5 more years before bitcoin will hit 100,000$. from the way the market is dropping and going up it is really affecting the growth

That feels pretty realistic especially with how the up and downs go in the Bitcoin market. Quite a few mental barriers along our way up.

I would just loosely say "the next bubble". That could be closer to 2020 (halving season), or it could be 2025 or later. I'd bet on the former though, because I think the extremely limited supply will always drive prices up speculatively before adoption goes exponential.

Either way, timing any market is nearly impossible, let alone a market with less than a decade of price history. Cheesy

This statistics are totally wrong because we must calculate the maximum supply of Bitcoin then only we will predict the future possibilities of Bitcoin. Already more than 70 percentage of the Bitcoin was mined. so we will predict demand and supply of Bitcoin but this period is really hard says how to survive in the future journey so better we should wait and see the future result is good for everyone.

the thing about adoption is that it is unpredictable and when it happens, it happens fast. like last year. nobody could predict such an adoption growth in such a short period of time although we always know it is possible. and as we go forward and bitcoin grows more and gains more popularity, it becomes easier for it to be adopted hence the adoption will be bigger and faster. so we end up with a much shorter and bigger rallies and resulting bubbles.
with that said i think 2020 is a good guess for the next big bubble at $100k but that is not the next bull market. the bull market will start pretty soon. the $100k will be the final bull market of this round ending with the next big bubble.

That mean we should expect another bull run from January next year. However,  if ETF is approve then bitcoin heading towards $50,000 to $10,000 will be possible before end of 2019. I have seeing how many of us here has predicted bitcoin's price and your predictions came to pass and I believe that in the next one year we should have a good time in our investments.

Yep, perhaps prior to the next halving we might see another bubble form topping at $100,000 followed by another bearish trend. Because its only logical that after the next halving, those bag holders who accumulated will have to liquidate at some point it time, which means another cycle will follow soon after that. But another question though is that how miners are going to be affected by this halving and what's its correlation on the future price of bitcoin.

Although the trend of bitcoin has been given in the past, this year is a very bad year. Many new altcoins and fake ICOs are becoming new pumps, and these altcoins are scattered among bitcoin funds and investors!

You have missed one part out though! If we are really to be looking at statistics, you should not be starting the current bottom as a start of the increase in 2020. For instance, there has been an increase in the start of the bull year even before it starts for that year.

2011 ended at $30 and 2013 began its increase above the 2011 ATH, while 2017 also began its bullishness close to the 2013 ATH. So let's imagine in that scenario, that we are starting the bull year for bitcoin at around $18,000 to $19800 as the case may be, and then we can do our maths with that, which from my end, we should be looking at around $288,000 to $300000. Just saying!

I doubt that it will happen that fast. WE are sure that it will rise up but it must be too fast to think that by 2020 the price will be more than 100K. Something must happen between 2019 that will cause the big jump. ETF they said will be on 2019 but there ain't any assurance whether where the price is going if its approved. We may even be seeing ETH replacing BTC if things went well for ETH that all those significant tokens are going to be adopted.

it takes a long time to restore investor confidence, now investors prefer short-term investing. buy when prices go down and sell when prices rise. to achieve this price requires the trust of investors to invest long term.

It's correct. This market is very sensitive to news and can be seen as a news-controlled crypto market. All cryptocurrency fluctuates when news hits the market and bitcoins too. We can see that in 2018 there is too much bad news and it causes the prices of bitcoin and altcoin to fall very deep compared to the end of 2017.

Yea like this guy said $100k is possible in the next bull market. Most likely the next bull market will be starting in the next few months and culminate in a peak by end of 2020. I'm not sure if it will actually pass $100k or not at that point but I have high confidence it will reach a bull market peak around $100k (give or take $20k) in 2020. It might take until 2025 for $100k to be the bottom of the market so that the price is stable at $100k+, like how it is $6k now. So very possible we see at least a couple weeks of 6 digit Bitcoin prices in 2020 and then it'll probably be another few years before the price has become stable in the 6 digits to the point in which we don't ever expect to see it below $100k again.

If the market is sensitive to news, it has both good and bad sides. By 2020 all news about bitcoin are good, the market may look like 2017, prices will increase 20 times. We have the right to hope (although i only trust 1% Grin).

The price is tempting, but because of the decentralized nature of bitcoin that makes bitcoin's value unpredictable and the increase in bitcoin depends on market adoption, and I think there is no guarantee that the value of bitcoin will increase as you predict.

Therefore based on past years  can to make computation next price bitcoin:
2020 year6500$ x 16 = 104 000$ ?

This is impossible, we are in the year 2018 and we are already at the end of 2018 and price is  $6500. so if next year we do not have approval of some ETF we risk the end of the year while the price is less than $10,000 and after 2019 we could end up at $ 20,000, and you're making calculations of $100,000? this is impossible.

Guys it's only statics as per past years, don't accept this how accurate prediction  future.

Oh you can be sure that I do not really believe

the increase in bitcoin depends on market adoption, and I think there is no guarantee that the value of bitcoin will increase as you predict.

That's why I believe it's impossible.

The price is tempting, but because of the decentralized nature of bitcoin that makes bitcoin's value unpredictable and the increase in bitcoin depends on market adoption, and I think there is no guarantee that the value of bitcoin will increase as you predict.
Guarantees don't exist, but Bitcoin has proven to do that what no one even could imagine realistically.

If you would have asked me in 2016 when I expect the price to reach the $20,000 mark, I would point at 2020 just before or after the block halving. If you told me it would happen in 2017 I would advise you to seek professional help.

In other words, never underestimate what Bitcoin is capable of with how little circulating supply there actually is. $100,000 is perfectly possible to happen before or just after the block halving in 2020.

$1 to $10 was insane already. $10 to $100 was what people didn't believe in. $100 to $1000 is crazy for something that has no physical form. $1000 to $10,000 can't be described with words. $10,000 to $100,000 is possible.

The only challenge is $100,000 to $1,000,000.

BSV is not the real Bcash. Bcash is the real Bcash.

I don't expect the ETF to pass until late 2019 or 2020 mid quarter. I think it's going to be harder than most people think, to get the ETF done. They want to kill the last noob standing and they want to hold all the BTC before they pass the ETF and the price goes to jupiter. At this point, there's simply way too many noobs with absolutely no knowledge on the fundamentals holding bitcoin, which must be moved into smarter wallets.

Once this process is done and all the bitcoins have been re-distributed accordingly, the price will go to 6 figures and the talks of world reserve currency will start showing up on mainstream media. By that point the future rothchilds will already be formed as most noobs gave away their bitcoin to them.

Although the trend of bitcoin has been given in the past, this year is a very bad year. Many new altcoins and fake ICOs are becoming new pumps, and these altcoins are scattered among bitcoin funds and investors!
There will always be a downtrend year, as you cannot expect that bitcoin would just keep going on.
You think the years in between those bull year mentioned, did not have some huge drop in price as well ? Then, maybe you should reverse on history and go check it out.

As it is, I believe that what we are having now is just some healthy correction and with the potential growth in the future, people should keep seeing it as a chance to get in at a good price rather than seeing it as a bad year. It is not a bad year, it is just a bear year, how bad it is or how good it is, depends on the way you want to take it.

By 2020, I don't think that it will go base on your analysis though I appreciate OP's analogy on how he come up with that year. But there's one thing that makes me believe that it's possible since this is a speculative market and whether ETF goes live or not, we got halving by 2020.

perhaps prior to the next halving we might see another bubble form topping at $100,000 followed by another bearish trend. Because its only logical that after the next halving, those bag holders who accumulated will have to liquidate at some point it time, which means another cycle will follow soon after that. But another question though is that how miners are going to be affected by this halving and what's its correlation on the future price of bitcoin.
Yeah, halving has always come with some pretty good increase and so far, we have seen that bitcoin tends to increase within the same certain sequence interval over the years since inception. Yes, this is not something we can say one can be sure of yet, but I am sure during this year, we may likely have this come into play.

Nevertheless, we also have to understand that the bull year have always started above the previous ATH or close to the previous ATH, so in that case, I would even be going more bullish in value if we are to make it look more like the market doing a x16 at around $19800. That would be some whooping amount of money.

I dont believe we will see $100 000 Bitcoin by end of 2020. Of course there is a chance but it is a slim chance. More likely we will see over $100k Bitcoin in year 2021 or even 2020. Of course we are talking about maximum price here. not an average or a bottom.

That is an achievable goal, but to me, i do not think it is possible in the nearest time. it will probably be in a decade Sad
That's achievable given by the good position of bitcoin to market we can witness that state of price but as you've said it is nowhere near this year nor the next one it is the unrealistic figure to assured though we can speculate these prices as long as you wish to the content of your heart even with some speculation of $1 million they can do that, the current state of the price and its development is not possible for now.

I doubt bitcoin will be able to reach 100k by 2020, and I think the holders will not be able to patiently hold up to 100k, before the price of 100k is reached then many will sell for profit.

It's very hard to achieve this price but yes it may happen in few years and we expect this to happen very soon as well. Investors are eagerly waiting for such moments to occur. If this year trend is like 2017's trend then yes there is a possibility for a big hit.

I do not think that bitcoin ever will ever reach the price of that thousand dollars. If bitcoin will grow significantly in price, each time there will be obstacles to its growth and it will fall in price. Charts are one thing, but real life is different. Especially, in 2020, which is just over a year. In many ways, the cost of bitcoin in 2020 will depend on how well it finishes this year.

I don't think that year bitcoin will become 100k dollars. Because of the people bitcoin reach again 20k dolars they start selling and the price start decreasing again . But if we can control yourself to hold your bitcoin everything is possible to happen what ever how much price we want we can achieve that.

that's a good question.. I think that won't happen before 2025
That feels pretty realistic especially with how the up and downs go in the Bitcoin market.

Cheesy

Yep, perhaps prior to the next halving we might see another bubble form topping at $100,000 followed by another bearish trend. That is a good question but I think it will never happen because this price is too high that nobody will buy it. In my country $100000 is very big amount and I can even buy a readymade big house. I will never invest in bitcoin if the price ups more than $30000. In my view there should be a limit for bitcoin so that everyone is able to invest in it to earn some money.

The problem with that data is that you have very few points that you can refer in order to try to speculate what it's going to happen with the price in the future, so I do not see a reason to believe that this is in some way meaningful, I think that price is possible but in the next 10 years, it could happen sooner and I will be very happy if that happened, but it is better to be conservative than to be disappointed with the fact that your prediction does not come true and then sell your coins out of panic.

It was merely a competent price of bitcoin if we used to experience it in the future of cryptocurrency, and predictions wise is always an inspiration for everybody who really hope for that value to be achieved. Don't ever sell your coins when you're in panic, instead you must be strong adn determined in order to survice the current situation. Those possibilities is always there to happen, just stay calm and easy.

When everyone says that bitcoin will be the usable currency all over the world just like our local currency then its value should also be like local currencies. I think that the present price of bitcoin is also very high and it should reduce to $200 maximum. So that ordinary people will be able to invest in bitcoin and the use will also increase locally and internationally.

in my opinion, your calculations and predictions can happen and this all depends on the total supply of bitcoin which is increasingly depleted and depending on the increasingly high demand, when supply is increasingly limited then the price will definitely become very expensive.

I think the value of bitcoin is difficult to calculate, because its value is unstable and there is no guarantee that bitcoin increases as you predicted. $ 100k is a very high price and will not be achieved in 2020.

Everyone has the right to make their own predictions but to me such a price in such a short amount of time seems to be impossible and I'm not going to change my mind until I see that price with my very own eyes, however a price close to 40,000 or 50,000 is a lot more likely in my opinion, but at the end we must recognize that all of us are just speculating and that it's impossible to know exactly what it is going to happen.

I think that never cuz bitcoin is dropping every that and its not gonna go up very soon . Even if will ever go up which will go, its not gonna reach such a big value , its just a huge  value and its almost imposible for bitcoin to reach that value . We will see in the future cuz thats the only think we can do .

bitcoin price will not follow in any pattern as this will depends on the market supply and demand. Hitting a price of $100,000 per bitcoin will need huge amount of money to fill-in into cryptocurrency. Imagine how huge is the money flowing in the cryptomarket and this may create also some negative effect on the fiat. Although it's unpredictable and who knows if this will happen I just hope that I have enough bitcoin on my wallet.

In some four to six years to come we should be trading bitcoin above $100,000. I think now should be the best time to invest in cryptocurrencies.  Bitcoin has the great potential to move in 1000x in years to come

I think we can see 100K in 2020.

seriously ? well i dont think so , i dont believe that it can happen on a short time span . we are now close to 2019 but the price is merely struggling to move out from its comfort zone .

your expectations is a bit unrealistic . even if we wait 2025 i dont think bitcoin can reach 100k  .

news dont have a strong connection to the price because most news that circulates online a merely fake and mostly made of fuds and speculations . thats why i dont think that people can easily believe on it .

The news used to have a huge impact but people are learning not to trust them anymore. You can still see some residual nervousness like when the first ETF was rejected we had a big downward move right away. It used to be much worse though. When Chinese regulators were clamping on local exchanges it was a total panic.
I think that 100k is totally reachable. If only 1% of the world's population decided to buy a fraction of a coin we'd be far above it.

It's not prediction it's only statistics for last years. Every bull market bitcoin grow approximently 16x

2011 year : (1$-30$) ,
2013 year: (100$ - 1149$)
2017 year : (1000$ - 20000$)

Last bull market was ended in january and on the statistic bull market continues approximently  one year. Bearish maret on the statistic continues approximently 10 mounth and if look on past periods, next bull market begin in october - december 2018. Therefore based on past years  can to make computation next price bitcoin:
2020 year:  6500$ x 16 = 104 000$ ?

Guys it's only statics as per past years, don't accept this how accurate prediction  future.
Bitcoin is having a lot of problems just to touch the price of 10000 again and you want bitcoin to touch the price of 100000 by the year of 2020? I am not saying that it is impossible, in fact I think that by that time bitcoin will begin to recover but I'm not really sure that such a price is possible so soon.

I agree it is hard to predicted these price high and possibly it reach more years to happen. Their is always uncertainty of the price in bitcoin. So, I think their is an increase on bitcoin value but not that high.

There is nothing to agree with what he has said. We are presently just in between bulls and bears and the chances it could fall to any side is still there which is why we have been having sideways movement.

Market would not just start a speedy recovery immediately, the bears have been in charge and they will want to keep being in charge which is why the bulls will do everything to keep the market from going lower to some certain point, but as far as I am concerned, the bulls will actually need to put up a huge fight to be able to win that and because of things like that we see consolidations. Like it or not, once btc breaks out upward, the participation will start kicking in.

I cannot see any problem here at all. The problem with people is that they are just so particular on seeing bitcoin just attain some pretty huge height in a short term and then not knowing that all these things are gradual.

You cannot always expect the market to moon every time or recover immediately and what we are seeing now is bitcoin consolidating and probably some level of accumulation going on in the market, however, it is, what is important now is to be taking advantage of the dips in the market and waiting for the long term to see how things would pan out which I believe they obviously will always pan out well for the holders.
That's why many people are so negative about cryptocurrency. Anyone who speaks negatively about cryptocurrency invested in it during the fall of the market and feels like a chode  Grin Grin Grin

2020 is still too far sometimes I disagree if anyone predicts that up to 100K is a very high value but I also hope so that the increase makes us all abundant of wealth,a long process when going up to 50K only is also maybe too difficult if investors immediately take advantage sell of him BTC.

I don't see any problems too, and it's totally true that most of the people wish bitcoin fast rise, just in order to make huge profit as fast as possible. I believe in rise of demand, after that price will rise too, but how long we will need to wait is a big question. I said couple times already, next halving is in two years, give it a year more and you will have date when price can rise a lot. This calculation from op is fine, but 2013 was a year after halving in 2012, 2027 was a year after halving in 2016, next halving is in 2020, add one note year and you will get 2021. Everything before that will be just ordinary volatility, we can go over 10k, we will drop back to 5k again, but in 3 years from now we will have much bigger rise than er had last year, mark my words.

$100k is not unrealistic, but I believe in a step at a time. Let's see how it breaks the ATH first and then we can have the next projection. In actual sense, no one is certain when BTC is going to hit $100k.

In some four to six years to come we should be trading bitcoin above $100,000. I think now should be the best time to invest in cryptocurrencies.  Bitcoin has the great potential to move in 1000x in years to come
It will never happen till the rest of the world. $100,000 is very huge amount and I think it is not good to put this huge money just in one bitcoin. In my opinion if the price crossed $20000 the demand for bitcoin will be reduced because if there is little bit decrease in the price investors will lose lot of money. Therefore I think that the current price is very reasonable.

If the market is sensitive to news, it has both good and bad sides. By 2020 all news about bitcoin are good, the market may look like 2017, prices will increase 20 times. We have the right to hope (although i only trust 1% Grin).

news dont have a strong connection to the price because most news that circulates online a merely fake and mostly made of fuds and speculations . thats why i dont think that people can easily believe on it .
$100k in just two years and there is no technical analysis; no fundamental analysis, no observation, and no sense of human mind and give the year for this price. I also can say that the price will be $500,000 in 2021, will anyone believe it? I have no data of the current market and I have no idea about the coming situation of the market. Giving price for bitcoin is easy but you should also give some reasons for that.
