I don't think KYC for airdrops offered is fair for those who joined. Some ICO with airdropping is not also fine to get KYC for tokens worth almost nothing or a burger meal is not really fine. I observed it in some ICOs with airdrops that even with giveaways like that so small needs KYC? Don't fall for it guys, not worth it.

Hi there, in my opinion it depends on the project. For exemple i had no worries doing KYC with Dfinity i had no hesitation. But with less than 35-50$ i would recommand not to go through KYC. Especially if the project is unknown, no way to be trusted. Don't forget guys that you are giving your personnal informations and they might be used to steal your identity or recover some passwords. Think about it twice before filling a KYC.

i agree with you but for me personaly i noticed that generally the projects that ask for kyc for airdrops or bounties tend to be of high quality and sometimes hyped up and highly focused on regulation and being lawful in their specific jurisdiction basically covering their behinds. So yeah if the project is good enough i'll do the kyc

"Sorry guys, we need KYC to prevent bot users / regulation issues / *blabla*." let's say in brackets: THANK YOU for your participation and the publicity, you have been f***ed

KYC (Know your customer) for airdrops token are scams, they pivot out the private information of several participants and offer them tokens that are worthless when listed on exchanges. Funny enough, most of the projects becomes desolate (failed project) and what happens to kyc data's gotten ?? they are most probably sold on black markets to unknown buyers across the world. Lets be smart and avoid unwarranted KYC.

KYC which is practically you giving your documents and personal information to a third party is never a good thing and it always violates your privacy. so at the very least you want that third party to be someone who you can trust with your personal information. an unknown ICO creator who can be literary anybody from a 10 year old kid to a hacker in North Korea is not someone who you want to trust with your personal information.

Requiring KYC for airdrops is not good, it's like you just pass your information for a cents, they will use your information for scamming people so don't join airdrops that needs KYC.

The KYC for airdrop is really a waste and should not be done because the number of Token for the airdrop is really small, accounting for less than 4% of the total Token supply. So if the airdrop campaign forced KYC, then I think most of them are scam or non-potential ICO project.

I personally do not have a problem with KYC, but collecting peanuts of tokens and what it amounts to in the future is worthless for me. I personally haven't signed up for airdrops for some time, as I see them as a waste of time and effort. Airdrops should be what are, airdrops! without any requirement of KYC for tokens receipt.

I think airdrops are good with kyc to get rid of and give chance to other bounty hunter who want to airdrops and earn just kyc's purpose in the bounty to further strengthen security and to bounty huns who use mutiple account but not everyone with kyc in the bounty is legit the other scam also so be careful of joining in to other bounty.

I think that the projects that request this aim to move forward with the laws imposed in their countries So these projects may be secured in the future

yes now with airdrops do not pay anything at all and do for the sake of little things KYC there is no sense. even if it turns out that it will be priced at $ 10, after listing the coin will fall to $ 1 and you cannot even sell it

I think that KYC is asking for really good projects, and to pass this procedure for $ 50, I do not see the point.

KYC for airdrops is not worth giving our documents/identity. Look for other airdrops if you feel not giving up your KYC, for now almost all of the airdrops are just wasting my time.

Actually, I joined several airdrops such as POLYMATH. They require all airdrop participants to submit KYC. But the result still worth it. The price of polymath token airdrop is so good.

when one scamming method becomes too common that everyone knows about it then that method becomes useless so the scammers have to change it a bit. in this case the normal way of running ICO at some point became too obvious a scam that they had to change their methods. one of the methods they chose was to ask for a fake KYC so that they can pretend they are legitimate and are not scamming. now that method is becoming obsolete too so they have to find a new method of scamming.

Happened to have done this in the past and annoying the airdrops were worthless that I saw it that I wasted my time, the meaningful ones don't even require it. This time I Ignore any airdrop that requires KYC, may do kyc for exchange, some bounties but not airdrop

Right. I do not usually do airdrops that require me to kc. Unless it's a very good project, and they will pay you a lot of coins if you do it. Providing your information to unreliable projects is not necessary. Don't do that.

I think airdrop KYC is not needed. Today they pay only $ 1-2 for airdrop. In my opinion, it's wrong to pass on your documents for this.

I think that every ico and bounty should have KYC. Yes, a project should know their customer. And as is goes for bounty, it will help stop a lot of scammers who spam bounties with fake accounts.
