You need to have a Starbucks app with an active US account. After you check out your account is topped up with the USD amount you paid. 3rd party payment provider is used to process payments.
I'm still testing the service right now so it's limited to $5-$10 transactions but so far there were no issues.

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

No offence dude, but you wouldn't expect people to do any kind of transactions on a website that looks it's developed by an 8-year-old. Even if the UI has to be minimalistic, it can still be aesthetic given the plethora of UI frameworks out there. Also, what is the 5% conversion fee? That's ridiculous!
