so many replies! thanks everyone for engaging!! & honestly i've already learned quite some!
it seems, in general, enthusiasts, (sample size is small of course; i'm only referring to the who read & posted on this tread) are more interested in ethereum;
&, at the very least, xrp seems to be battling uphill for the popularity! (whether xrp cares for that or whether their market is affected by that is another topic!!)
i see quite a number of replies pointing out xrp's centralization & are not totally for it!
concidering this:
[...] By contrast, Ripple is totally centralized and you cannot really say that it is a cryptocurrency at all. [...]
& this:
[...] however i do think a cryptocurrencies can be centralized and still be a cryptocurrency.[...
this is quite an interesting topic on its own: whether decentralization is a key factor in defining a cryptocurrency!
nevertheless one thing is obvious & that is, the majority of the posts are bullish in general about the cryptocurrency market, as a whole; which is, again, interesting in its own rights!
[...] Ethereum will comeback and be more valube compared to Ripple if the ICO market gets liven up again so eth could rise.
& about the above! i've been thinking the same thing; last year icos were the movers & shakers of the market but that's so 2017, per se!
now a days anywhere you look, whatever moves the market is the news of regulation & institutional money!
i not sure how i like that; but well!
