I think reporting any of the account you come across is the thing to do. As I read that ban evasion is against the rules, except one makes an appeal in a single thread.
No need posting here, as I don't think moderators would go blocking every account you say is related.

You're sadly wasting your time asking the admins to look into this. I've messaged both cyrus and theymos about numerous large scale abuses over the years and they're just not looked into anymore (just like account restorations), and this will just be the tip of the shitberg. I get that they shouldn't be looking into mere cases of just merit abuse but when there's hundreds of accounts being farmed by shitposting and dozens of them have already been banned  for plagiarism then it just makes a joke of the rules and banning them is a waste of time. If ban evasion on such a scale isn't going to be looked into or more admins made to look into this colossal abuse then we should just get rid of the rule and even stop banning copy and pasters because it's just a waste of time. The best we can do as a community is red tag them once found as annoying and time-consuming as that is.

You're sadly wasting your time asking the admins to look into this.

Sadly you are right, as in one epidemic you have to try to kill the strain of the virus and not just treat the sick.
We have to solve the problem at the root, to make banning the accunts especially of low ranks does not change much.
Unlike this, if we can ban high rank accounts give to us more satisfaction and have a higher ecomonic impact for those hunterbuntingfamilyfarms.

Does posting in Reputation gonna solve the problem with +200 alts ?
Atleast in Known Alts of any-one - A User Generated List Mk III (2018 Q4).
According to posts there, some actions are taken in connection with alts, scammers, copy/pasters and etc?

It doesn't actually solve anything, if the accused accounts are not banned here in the forum the second best thing is they are neg trust by a DT member and even that does not solve anything if there are bounty campaigns who are still accepting members with neg trust, they will still be here posting spam in the forum. So if we really want to stop them the best thing is they will be banned by the admins which hilarious just said is not going to happen as it is an impossible task

I think it should help a bit on the matter getting the rest of them banned later
with so many accounts, it would be pretty hard to keep posting with original contents
and once one of them get banned, the rest of connected accounts aren't allowed to post anymore
if they do keep posting outside meta (ban evasion) then report them to get them banned too Wink

Among of +200 alts there are six Jr. Members and five Copper Members. So as not to waste too much time DT can look on these profiles:

   Jr. Member cryptohipo
   Jr. Member mc.craigsvictor

Jesus, you've got to wonder how much time these guys have got on their hands to be posting on 200+ accounts, unless it's a team of people then it's more understandable. The funny thing is they're all bounty spammers, spamming for projects which are likely to crash by 90% when they hit the exchanges, if they ever hit the exchanges. This means that the majority of their effort will go to waste  Grin

Unfortunately, that doesn't happen very often unless the project turns into a scam. I shit you not, some of these scums are making more than a software engineer's salary a month just by bounty whoring. I think theymos needs to create a rank just for bounty whores. They will be allowed to post only in the bounty section and no other forum privileges will be given to them.

It's probably the easiest and most rewarding job they'll ever have regardless of whether there's one person or a team of them behind the accounts, but it can be done just by one person if you think about it. Think of it as just like an admin job that you get to sit at home all day and get paid handsomely just for posting crap. If you look at their posts they're all just one/two liners with the minimal amount of effort being put into them. They find spam threads, write their one/two liners, then just re-write it over how ever many accounts they have. When you've got hundreds of accounts doing this the money starts to seriously rack up. Some users are making tens of thousands for this and I think some address have been traced that have had $100k+ worth of tokens sent to it so that just shows you how much money there is to be made for this abuse. It's why we need more than just one merit requirement and need to clamp down on the ICO campaigns who are paying them to make this rubbish because the worst abusers are just going to find ways to abuse the merit system to their advantage like this particular instance.

That's mostly the case. Though there can be some people who do nothing else than this and they might not involve anyone else so that they get all the rewards, but most of the times, they have teams where one person creates accounts and distributes them to everyone so that they earn money through them and get a part of what their accounts earn. I remember a thread where this guy got a negative trust from a DT member and he was requesting for it to be removed, and in that thread, he posted a picture where there were a group of people sitting on a table and everyone having laptops in front of them, which he said was his team who are always working on bounties. So I wonder that is what most of them do since it is a very tiring job to handle that many accounts yourself no matter how much you love earning money.

Yes. It was the remarkable post by The Pharmacist. Seems that the same story with these 200 accs.

I received a PM today with a typical excuse:

Hello sir,
I'm representing my friends to appeal about our accounts that you give negative trust due to this post.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4650049.0
I wish to inform you that those accounts not belong to a single person, we are making a community to perform bounty campaign.
Does working on bounty campaign with our own individual account against the rules?
About the those wallet that are connected to each other, we used it to safe the fee of transaction.
Some of our team today (the other member are working at home, at the moment):

here is our website : http://kidoelkempoel.com/index.html
Please kindly reconsider, and please remove the negative trust on our account.
Thank you.
I hear the explanation of what I bolded above a lot.  Transaction fees are pretty damn low, so there's really no reason why funds should be pooled--and given that blockchain transactions are the only good way to prove accounts are connected, people shouldn't be doing this.

I'm hardly swayed by this picture, either.  It shows a bunch of shitposters sitting around a shitposting table in a shitposting farm.  They deserve negative trust just for that.  Give me a fucking break.  Guaranteed the women here don't care about bitcoin in the least.  They got recruited to spam like suicide bombers get recruited by ISIS.
