Many ICO fails now, that's true. Crypto market very much down and investors are going away from ICO invest. Now less profitable to invest an ICO.
2017 year was golden year for altcoin and bitcoin. But last 6 months market is very bad.

As you look in the market it is the sample thing why investors are stay away in crypto because they are afraid to lose everything, some of them there are KYC to take in where it is on risk for them because they can know there privacy, information that can have a possibility to hack.

Most investors have lost interest in all this. Most of them have lost huge money in some scam ICO projects that were never launched. This days, people thread with a lot of caution when it comes to ICO investment. No matter how nice the project may sound, investors still need to be careful.

I think the investor moves their money to the other profitable coins because they think it's not good if they still stay on the ICO project. Besides that, they think that the ICO now is decreasing too deep and it's hard to rise again before the ethereum projects can increase the ethereum price. I am sure that the investor still uses their money to buy bitcoin and altcoin and I am sure that they still want to recover their losses in a few months ago. The market now still try to increase, and it's good news for the investor so they can expect to make a profit again.

The truth is that except for bitcoin and some selected altcoins most people are not investors at best they are long term traders and a trader doesn't really care about the future of a particular coin, the only thing they care about is to obtain profits out of it and if they see anything remotely negative about a coin they are going to give up on it immediately and will sell it at the first signs of problems.

But I see some of my friends move their money and invest in the valuable coins for a long time. And it makes me see that the investor still investing their money even if they don't make a trade. Meanwhile, the other friends still doing trading because they believe that they could still make a profit from bitcoin and altcoins. Besides that, I have a friend who decides to become a trader and the investor at the same time because they think that they have a bigger chance to make a profit in the short-term and the long-term.

there are still many investors out there, only they are waiting for a number of opportunities to invest, or have switched to other businesses. well, the proof is that some ICOs still managed to achieve softcaps, and some projects still get hardcap.

Most of the investors do not want to work with the asset, the return of investment from which it is impossible to crank. It's too risky and until they can get it, their money won't be here.
