1. Why are you creating a token for your project?
2. Can you project work without your token?
3. Why are you doing ICO instead of selling your tokens directly?

1. What are the advantages to invest in this project?
2. What are the weaknesses? (There's nothing like a perfect project)
3. What exchange(s) will/do you plan to be listed on?
4. How do you ensure safety from scammers/hackers?
5. Who are your advisers. Information regarding the team and where is the project based out off?

this be a fun thread, if you were at a conference or an expo for cryptocurrency.

You came across an expo booth of a new project, making a new coin/token etc.

What are the top 5 questions you would ask them? about their platform/

What are the main things you would like to learn about them? about their project?

this could be fun, love to hear all your responses
I would ask them what their longterm plans for the project are
Where do they see the project in five years?
What are they doing to achieve those goals that they have set for their projects?
Are there going to be any products added to the project in the long run?
What is their price expectations for the coins by the end of the year?
It helps to ask hard hitting questions as that is the way that you make sure that you are investing in the right project

What is important for me when I consider a new project:
1. Is the WP and roadmap complete and have all necessary information?
2. What is the expected position of your coin in the market and what makes your project different from the others?
3. How you you plan to interact with community?
4. Any interaction/cooperation with other currencies/projects?
5. How do you protect your project from abuse and hackers?

These questions are the good question to be asked to the team before joining the project, we need to know the whole thing about the project. And your questions can represent the whole project if those are being answered by the team of the project.

So many questions to asked but the most important are as following:

1. Long term vision of the project.
2. What innovative thing it brings and what is it solution for.
3. Who are the competitors and  if any why they think their product is better
4 Whitepaper and Roadmap
5. Team members and adviser experience
6. What resources are needed to fulfill the promises in WP and Roadmap.
7. How they will achieve to deliver everything as planned on time.
