MANDATORY WALLET UPDATE RELEASE - V2.1.0

Please download the latest version v2.1.0 from - https://www.github.com/EpicCrypto/Epic/releases

To update to the new wallet follow these steps:
1. Backup your current (v2.0.0) wallet.dat
2. Download the new wallet  - v2.1.0
3. Delete the old v2.0.0 .exe
4. Install and run the new v2.1.0 .exe
5. All your local files (%appdata% files) should not have to be touched, just the .exe file will be changed.

If you have coins on mynodepool or mystakingwallet:
1. You will receive further instructions from them via email.
2. Essentially you will just have to login to your account, restart your masternode, and unlock your wallet for staking again. Again, this will be done once you receive an email from them.
3. If your coins are on MNP nothing needs to be done on your end.

If you have coins on our other masternode hosting sites:
1. You will have to set your MNs up manually again through their site.

If you have your own VPS for your Masternodes:
1. Login to your epic VPS.
2. Run - bash <( curl https://raw.githubusercontent.com/EpicCrypto/Epic-MN-Install/master/refresh.sh )
3. “Start alias” for each masternode in the local wallet.
4. No need to delete old MN files and resend coins.

For staking:
1. Nothing needs to be done, just unlock wallet for staking after you download and run the new v2.1.0 wallet.

We are in the queue on CryptoBridge for the wallet update. Whenever that is completed we will inform everyone. Deposits and withdrawals are still disabled at this time.

With the most recent block reward increase, our chain has stopped again. We apologize for the inconvenience.

1. Close your EPIC wallet.
2. Open your wallet config filed (named epic.conf in your Epic local folder, this is in %Appdata% on Windows).
3. Replace the addnodes with the ones below (or insert them if yours is empty):

addnode=149.28.102.205
addnode=108.61.193.88

4. Re-open your wallet and resync it. This can be found in Tools > Information > Wallet repair > Resync



Be sure to resync your masternodes as well. Log into your VPS and follow these instructions:

cd /usr/local/bin
./epic-cli stop

Now we need to add the nodes into our MN config, to be sure it syncs to the right height:

cd
nano .epic/epic.conf

Then paste these into your config at the bottom:

addnode=45.32.230.63
addnode=45.32.129.61
addnode=149.28.200.19
addnode=149.28.102.205
addnode=108.61.193.88

Then save and close. Next, go back to the epic daemon and run it:

cd /usr/local/bin
./epicd -daemon -resync

From there your MN will begin to resync its blockchain. Check that it syncs to the correct height (past block 100,000) by using:

./epic-cli getinfo

If everything is okay, you can then start your masternode again from your local wallet by clicking Start alias. Once this is done, check the masternode status on your VPS:

./epic-cli masternode status

i contacted support 4-5 days ago, no answer
i asked help on discord and they seem dont care

i dont know if its scam or just incompetent team but if i had noticed their thread was in "self moderated" i would have never try their site
