Why "announced by"? All the facts have led me to believe that Salz01 is behind both projects and desperately trying to run a scam project. They have sotoin.com in their profile http://archive.is/I6dmv if you look at sotoin announcement topic they act like they are part of the team https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5031970.0, one scam was taken down and obviously the same scammer created another one(as you mentioned they forget to change project name in whitepaper). Sotoin was exposed on September 22. and qripplex was created 2 days after that: http://whois.domaintools.com/sotoin.comDates 9 days old Created on 2018-09-24 Expires on 2019-09-24 Updated on 2018-09-24I am not sure what conclusion to make out of registrant information, as google and youtube(search for "project royal") showed some police action and identity theft.

Why "announced by"? I just wanted to make a small change to SCAM report format/template. As it can sometimes be misleading and not 100% accurate. There is absolutely no doubt in this particular case that the same man is responsible for SOTOIN and Qripplex. Here comes the inevitable question, do we have a third scam project in the next few days or since he is tagged, he's finally gonna stop?

Free tokens are for those who join airdrop. For those who will buy them, they are not free. Just for example, Yobit has many pump and dump shitcoins and guess what? Whoever bought them lost money. It is not really investing in project or anything, it is buying scam coins.

It's a free token anyways You can shove it up your ass that free token, nobody needs it. I don't think they are shady anymore Oh, I totally agree, they were never shady or suspicious in the first place because there is no doubt people behind Sotion and Qripplex are scammers. they made the corrections and announced it on
You lazy shumcks, you just corrected the things I mentioned, your entire WP is still copied from your previous scam attempt. Next thing you announce on Twitter, please be it that you're retiring from that shit because you're not good at it.

Hi everyone, I would like to make this clear statement. The bitcointalk account of salz01 was passed forward to the Qripplex community when we reached out to him after the Sotoin team declaration of stopping their project. We read their whitepaper and saw there were great ideas in it that we had love to build on. And thus, we were granted the permission, and since then, we have been building a great community we planned. Our community is growing rapidly at a rate we've never imagined. We gathered informations on what we could build on to stand out from existing solutions, and so we laid it down. We are a team of four (4) and we made it clear to everyone that we are anonymous. We pushed too fast to start building on our great community, and thus, this led us to make expensive errors which we are sad about. Ridiculously, one of our great community members called us out to his observation about the close likeness and contended errors that were present on our website and whitepaper, and immediately we realized it ourselves we made the corrections and updated our website and whitepaper according to what we have planned to build and not only did we make the corrections, we also took to our twitter page to make the awareness of updating our website and whitepaper and we also stated the reasons with honesty. We are building a community to bring people together for the use of cryptocurrency, which we believe should be built with honesty to make it strong. We the Qripplex team, are real and not scam. We hope to build a great community were everyone will own and make use of cryptocurrency. We would like to erase any form of doubt towards our community project and implore everyone to join us because we will do our best to give our community a benefitting reward. Thank you, Block J.

I'll echo marlboroza's sentiment and state that it doesn't matter if the airdrop is free. There are certainly suckers who'd buy this crap, and they're the ones who'd get scammed. You can be sure someone is going to get scammed here. Can't believe these morons are still trying to pull off schemes like this with the copy/pasting and non-existant or fake profiles. Don't they realize the bitcointalk amateur detectives have their eyes on them? Are projects like these actually making any money? OP, I'd give you a merit for this if I had one. I'd expected to get my sMerits topped off quicker when Theymos made me a merit source, but it hasn't happened yet. I'll owe you one.

~snip~ If you haven't checked this board lately, noobs are being exposed on a daily basis, so many of them thought. To answer your question directly, I don't think this kind of copy/pasting and fake teams make any money out of it, which doesn't necessarily mean they won't if they don't get caught, simply trying their luck.
The ones who profit a lot are masternode scams: I'm not surprised to see these morons get fake identities on their shitty website. Even though it's pointless as they have already sold pre-mined coins.
That's the beauty of it, the masternode scams, it's easy to setup up and you don't need much time, i would say less than 3 weeks to sell a few masternodes worth 2-10 BTC. AND BE GONE lol
Compared to regular scam ICOs, it's much more profitable, getting idiots on self-moderated discord channels to buy these masternodes ain't no problem for them.
One thing that helps is DT giving them neg trust. marlboroza and suchmoon deserve a lot of credit because they are most active in helping us amateur detectives bring these clowns down. What happens after they get tagged is either they delete their Ann or bounty, which also prevents hundreds of spam/shitposts being made.

To be less worried about merits, I don't think this guys are making profits, they are obviously trying their luck. The fact of copy/pasting exists in almost every crypto project, they all (80% if not all) build on existing projects. I only see them trying not scamming to be realistic

I would really appreciate it if you are just going to seat back and watch how great the Qripplex community will grow. I'm sure all this will be a part of your history.

I have many free coins from airdrop which are useless shits. No exchange lists them. And even there is exchange to list them, nobody wants to buy it. So, they are literally shit coins which only clutter up your wallets.
