Hi.
My post would be useful for bounty hunters mostly, as there are many websites that ask for mobile number verification (remember that you won`t be able to receive sms on this number again, so in case the account is banned you won`t restore it)

http://7sim.net/ - not the best website, as many numbers had been already used, some are not working.

https://5sim.net/free - great service, but recently new numbers appear very seldom.

https://smska.us/ - a good website where is possible to receive sms to verify Telegram and Twitter

https://onlinesim.ru/sms-receive - good for exotic websites as it is impossible to receive messages from Telegram and other popular services for free

https://www.receive-sms-online.info/ - old numbers, useless site

https://receive-sms.com/ - frequently update, but need to be quick, numbers are taken very fast

smsfinders.com/ - good but numbers are updated once in 2-3 weeks.

hope these will help.

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

So not content with allowing bounty spammers/scammers here, we now make it easier for them to cheat the bounty manager.

I hope bounty managers see this thread, and start insisting that spammers have to verify their payments by responding to a message on the original number.

yep, to verify address by sending notarized or original documents like ID, Driving license or others. also they`d verify their bank account by sending money to escrow. that would be great! just to participate in bounty that isn`t controlled by anything and 80% of which are scum  Wink

this thread is a help to people who are banned by Twitter, Facebook, tagged as spammer in Telegram because of their participation in bounty.
also for those who don`t want to show real mobile phone to bounty managers.
Spammers everywhere, yeah?

It's no secret cryptocurrency space has moved into a dangerous direction, requiring KYC and personal data everywhere, totally against Satoshis vision. It's no crime to use these sites or anonymous numbers as long as you don't scam anyone. Personal data are a personal right, everyone has a right to keep them private.

And don't let us offer a new scammer niche in this market where they can steal personal data. It's so easy for scammers to set up an ICO, collect KYC and do shit if some investors have sent it. I avoid every ICO requiring KYC, this is a big no-go!

And in addition Bitcoin is only pseudonymous and if we send our personal documents everywhere, it can bee seen who owns this address. If the government doesn't like you, you'll be watched. And if it's public once, it's public forever!

also for those who don`t want to show real mobile phone to bounty managers.
Yes, this would result in many scammers beginning a bounty manager carrier to collect personal data and sell it later. It's a real pity this KYC shit is still growing, scammers are applauding.

Agree.
For our work we receive shares of non-existing companies, many of which will never start trading. I see no reason to give away my data to an idle company, so KYC should not be applied in any way.

Almost all Bounty Managers/ICO (exception of few)  want more registrations, they are the one who created the problem, they are not cheated anyway in fact they are cheating the whole crypto currency ecosystem.

And Why we want to advertise for these people after creating fake documents?
You missed one very important point that "Fake is fake , irrespective your intentions"  you will be punished for processing the fake document no matter whether you used them or not .(Forget about good use vs bad use).

?
I think you got me wrong here, my point was about scammers collecting personal data from ICO / bounty / airdrop participants:

1. At first they are doing an ICO / bounty / airdrop which requires KYC.
2. They get some participants and these participants submit their real personal data via KYC.
3. The scammers pull an exit scam and have now the investors money and KYC documents.
4. The scammers can do everything now, like sell the personal data, commit crime or more shady things in the name of others.

KYC is very dangerous for us investors / bounty participants / airdrop participants!

And yes, I don't want to advertise for scammers, therefore I do a detailed research before I participate in a bounty. For sure I choose a bounty without KYC it's enough to risk wasting my time I spend for getting my stakes but I would never risk my personal data for some shitcoins.

I agree with this.

If you need to confirm SMS, you can also download a free number app e.g. TextNow, Talkatone, TextPlus or use Google Voice with US VPN. You can use VPN or tor (with orbot app) for more security or use android emulator e.g. BlueStacks, Genymotion. This is better if you want to use the phone number longterm or have more privacy (e.g. for 2fa or telegram) or if the phone number was already used by someone else.
