Not Allowing Newbie to Post a Promotion for Bounties! (Altcoins)

Since we are hunting a scam post and trying to clean this forum, I would like to suggest that Newbie will not allow to post any promotional or a bounty thread in this forum. If a project is a legit one then they should cooperate with some of the Bounty Manager here or some higher rank to post it. It will make sure that the project will be a legit one and not a scam post only. I know this is not good idea (only suggestion) but it will help the forum to be clean and no posting scam project already.

I think this was discussed before and no changes were made til now. Theymos will decide whether he wants to do anything, for now there are no problems.

As iasenko said, that's was discussed on forum multiple time. Better option don't go bounty section.

Personally I don't think admin will do this. If implement this rules than newbie will spam in all board. So better let them join bounty.

I do think people are being unnecessarily harsh to newbies, the copy paste spammers are making the rules stricter for everyone.  I've seen a few newbies get caught up in unfair bans.

Your post history is one big bounty report, very likely the reason why newbies need 1 merit to rank up. You are not hunting anything except money.

Looking at that neutral feedback on your trust wall, you are part of the problem.

You do realize that you become junior member 2 days ago? 182 activity and 1 merit. I honestly hope theymos will reconsider his decision and put new, higher merit requirement for newbies and together with your suggestion this should clean forum from spam and scam.

If you felt it was not a good idea, why bring it forth.

I however disagree; this could help cut down on scams and outright spam promotions. Mostly because every newbie account can be treated as a throwaway. Probably didn't need it's own thread as similar things have been discussed in other longer running threads.

I've seen a few newbies get caught up in unfair bans.

I'd be interested to see who received an unfair ban. I have seen bans reversed if they can prove their innocence, but this is rarely the case.

Wow. I think this is rather selfish on your part. From your post count and activity, it's clear that you are on of those affected with the recent clean up and  luckily, you got a merit. Saying this now is just so selfish. Jeez

Not justifying but just a suggestion:
Anybody should be allowed to post bounties and promotions but the projects that they are promoting should be verified by a number of set rules. And obviously, as you just mentioned, if the project is legit only then it should be allowed for posting.
This might be a good implementation to avoid scammers from doing any activity on this forum.

Thank you so much for your comment here, when I saw your name in my post it makes me happy. Because I owe you big, and thank you so much for that second chance you give me before. I know you forget me but its also one of the reason why I post this. I didn't even know that its already posted many times, so sorry for that. Most of us newbies are eager to learn, that's why I started to engaged also to others not only for my bounties.

I got negative trust before and you give me second chance so I won't waste that opportunity, I think it will be one of the good suggestions that can control others who are promoting scams here. In this way, we can control people spamming promoting a project that we don't even know if its legit or not until some people got negative trust or got scammed.

I hope you'll understand. But in the end, its already discussed and decided not to do this kind of actions.
