Mirai Coin: Fast Payments - Worlds first community based Augmented Reality Platform.

With Mirai AR, basic content creation tools are provided in the app using an easy drag and drop interface. No technical knowledge required. Your content is rated for quality and popularity and will continue to pay you MRI as your content is accessed by other users. Don't want to share your content with the world? Choose to just share with selected friends/ family for a more personal experience. For the more technically minded, there is Mirai AR advanced edit mode. This will be accessed from the website and allows for the upload and creation of 3d assets, programs and games.

Coin Information

Mirai Coin is being relaunched to coincide with the recent release of our new roadmap and whitepaper.
Originally Mirai was launched as a voluntary swap for holders of xgox coin. All xgox coins were sent to a burn address by the participants. Mirai had a premine of 1.5million coins for the sole purpose of providing Mirai coins for the swap. Once the swap was completed, the remaining 1.2million MRI were sent to an unretrievable burn address, leaving 300 thousand in circulation at the time.

At the time of writing there is a coin supply of 2.56million MRI with a true circulating supply of 1.36Million. The maximum supply is 16 million, expected to be reached after the year 2100 (14.8million circulating supply).

No ICO was held for Mirai and there was NO private/auction/sale of any coins by the developers. All development and exchange costs have come from the developers own pocket.

Premined coins are 1.5 mil, and total supply is 16 mil.
It means that the coin was premined at 9.375% of its max supply.
How about the plan of MIRAI team on main purposes of those 9.375% premined coins?

The premined coins were for the voluntary swap from xgox.
Because there was no way to know how many people would participate, a large amount was premined.
All xgox was sent to a burn address directly by the participants.
All left over MRI (1.2 million) was also sent to a burn address. A burn address is an address where no one could possibly hold the keys, so funds sent there can never be recovered and are effectively removed from circulation.

So there is no other purpose for the premine. It has been burnt/destroyed.

It is very unlikely that we would ever have any development on the hardware side of NFC payments.
Software side is interesting, but no plans for it at the moment.

Nice project. I have created already one masternode. I will build my second masternode the next week. I would like to reserve the French translation. Also I know that the team wanted to deliver the whitepaper on time. They respected their promise. They did deliver the whitepaper on time. But in my opinion the whitepaper need more work. It is not really selling or showing well the Mirai idea. The team should take time and write a better whitepaper which can share more their great idea.

You are right about the whitepaper. We were being careful to try not to create hype and just provide facts, but ended up underselling the true potential. Many people probably didn't realize how unique the plans are, and the viral potential of the final product. 
A new version is already being worked on.
We will also update the website soon with more complete information on Mirai AR.
This will include details on how the content creation rewards will be calculated and distributed, details on the asset marketplace and information on revenue streams.
