Altcoin of the Year ?

The year hasn't ended yet so I can't say on what altcoin that totally changed my life positively.

But if the market would be lively again I'll have the same answer as you with ethereum. I've took profit with my trades through ETH and been holding it for awhile. Early months, the price of it is above $400 so I'm still holding it and hoping that by the end of the year I'll see gain.

Ethereum is the best altcoin of the year. The ethereum market is expanding. The price of ether has risen sharply. Ether has more complete characteristics than bitcoin so it is a lot of choice investors. Everyone is investing in ethereum.

I know that Xrp didn't stay very long on the number 2 spot and beat again by Eth BUT I think we're unfair if we don't recognize or underrated its performance, what do you think? After all, it did an impressive job and made a very rare event which is enough to be the alt of the year (unless there's another who made greater on what it did) .

But well, we still have remaining two months before this year ends so too early to have the final word. Many things will still happen, I just hope it would be all positive.

That is a good question, despite this bear market we have had very good altcoins that have destabilized quite the top 10 coinmarketcap, we could say that ETH is still an excellent altcoin, but ripple is also stepping on his heels, there are also alts not so famous that are excellent too, such as Priv, venQ and EOS, very close fight.

According to Profit, Then I must say MTC and Bob are the altcoins of the year. Because these two coins gave me a huge profit and I am still holding these two coins to make more profit in the future. There are so many Altcoin available in the market like Ethereum, NEO, XRP, LTC, TRX. but as per my opinion XRP is the best altcoin of the year. Because XRP has the great future.

There have been quite a few very resilient coins.

for me, I have still made profit off of Monero.
I bought in on monero last year october when the price was around 80$.
Even in the worst crashes this year, monero has never dropped that low.

On top of that, I have been adding to my portfolio so I am expecting great returns.
During last decembers bull run, monero managed to jump well past $200, it is reasonable to expect it to do that again.
It has still made great development progress and has outperformed all other privacy coins.
Obviously, it is the best choice in the privacy coin department.
In just a year, it has totally crushed Dash, which used to be the king.

I don't think there is an altcoint that is the best for this year because all coints have deteriorated, hopefully in the near future this kind of condition will recover and all can work normally

2018? very few of them. EOS showed itself this year very worthy. In the spring Verge coin grew up well in anticipation of a “super” partner, who eventually turned out to be a pornhub.    From an investment point of view, ethereum is definitely a very attractive coin at the moment - the price is ridiculous now.

Anticipating the Atcoin of the year may change over time. But in my opinion, it could still be ETH, NEO, LTC, XRP, Wave, EOS ... The technology improvements of Altcoin, community and values ... will determine which Altcoin will have greatest potential of the year.

I know this might not be most pleasant to discuss about especially considering the current market situation but still i would like to know which altcoin has changed your life positively this year and which altcoin has yield you profit? For me it was obviously Ethereum and then it went on downward spiral.

here, without further ADO, the best is Ethereum,because it showed a successful growth at the beginning of the year, of course the market correction has done its job,but I hope that the price will go up

on this year i think ethereum will be the best ALTCOIN, because many project of ethereum is very good and important for digital future. And i invest 300$ off my money every month. I think Ethereum is very strong to Grow in 2020.

there are many coins that change a person's life by giving to a high profit for him. ethereum has provided many benefits for everyone and I think so for the following year. the year is still not over, that means the opportunity is still there to get profit when the market rises again.

I have so many altcoins that have given me joy this year. I will not fail to mention them. The altcoins are the likes of Twist, which is listed of on cryptopia, ENU,  on kkex, which now has its own mainnet. I will not forget to mention MTC (Docademic). At the initial stage, it seemed it was not going to bring a good ROI, but to my amazement, it got passed the ICO price  and increased tremendously.

Yes, MTC was one project that goes to the moon. I was one of the luckiest participant and I say the reward is worth the wait.  . I guess the best altcoin is EOS and XRP, reached all-time-high at the beginning of the year and now they are poised to challenge ETH as the dominant altcoin now. So my vote goes to the two. Specially XRapid which seems to get a lot of hype and success in the last couple of days.

no, because all the coins that I hold are worth more than 80%,
but i got some profit for selfdrop and some ico, yes even though it didn't last long, because like fomo, at least it comforted me a bit, because the losses I got from holding a few coins.
but coins like eth ltc xlm can be considered and should be bought at the current condition when the price drops.

To be honest, this year seems to be a little low than last year, so I actually can't give a name of altcoin that are good for this year.
But for other people would be XRP, the one that rather has a good increase in its price.

Year 2018 is not the year for cryptocurrency. Almost every coin dropped from its high value from 2017. However, there is one coin that is not affected much by this down market, it is the Dogecoin. By the time bitcoin and ethereum suffered a sharp fall a month ago, Dogecoin stayed stable. So, my bet is Dogecoin.

As for me, the best altcoin can be called XRP. He only showed the best growth in September. I think it can be safely called the best altcoin of 2018.

Till September of this year XRP showed a unbelievable improvement as everyone are aware that it overtook eth as well. This is a great sign of development. But still the last quarter of the year is going anything can happen. Let's wait and watch.

For now, only XRP is able to open up opportunities with quite good growth by making a surprise several times. Recognized or not, XRP shows excellent performance. Had to shift Ethereum in position 2, although Ethereum quickly took over his position again.
