We are not entirely sure about your question. If you are actually asking for the definition of "crowdfunding", then we rather forward you towards https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crowdfunding

When you are referring to crowdfunding to be already such a solution, then we need to add that in several platform providing crowdfunding, atleast where the team members took part - it was more like all or nothing game. Few of them are still waiting for projects/products to be delivered since 3 years.

You fund a project in that you believe and either it goes well or the fund is gone in short or longterm. And once a project goes well, as backer you will have something as prove in your hand but the idea you supported might have a huge impact and you can’t participate in the success. So it leaves sort of a mixed feeling for a backer.

With SCC platform we want “crowdfunding” to be a process which can become a genuine alternative to VC again, nowadays crowdfunding is regarded as a “bad word” or something sketchy in several countries. And related to experience the founders had, we want also the backer who believes in a project by providing help/fund in initial period of the project to participate in the success which can be solved in a transparent way using distributed ledger technologies.
 
That is what we mean be using crowdfunding best practices, as well as transparency, supported by Blockchain.

It's indeed eye catching, but our efforts are more towards the action to be high catching rather than just words!

However, with that we do agree that "NOTHING" can be completely RISK FREE, but we do like to say the risk is as low as it is possible in human terms.

1) In the SCC Platform besides classic Utility Token approach we will have Security Token and Initial Loan Procurement as possible fundament to base your project on it. Reviewing Historical data, Utility Token approach might be used less for future “Fundgeneration” and with the other two approaches there are much more legal bindings to the project owner who wants fund.

2) Any Project which launches on SCC Platform need to create as one of the first milestones a company so its a legal entity which is under strict control.

3) Any milestones to the project owner is released in a democratic way of voting, and to keep everything to minimal risk the milestones and amounts to be release will be carefully defined from board members with vast experience in their fields, which will provide the backers with insights.

So, with this approach, we are reducing the RISK to the "MINIMUM" levels and with time, we anticipate SCC to become the platform where only genuine projects will be launched, and that for us will make things RISK FREE for everyone!

We already agreed to that, there is indeed nothing that can be 100% risk free. However, like we just mentioned above, we have figured out a type of structure/system, where we have minimized the risk. So, this way we are doing something that's more beneficial, but far secure from anything you have seen previously!

Thanks for your interest. Well, your question is slightly tricky, as we are obviously trying to collect funds, much like any other ICOs out there. What we are presenting is something that's MORE rewarding than anything out there at present. However, we do have experts handling up the marketing part, which is to help us with getting more public exposure.

The certain insights we can give you about our planning is having VC and pitches while have we do have various strategies which we plan up use up. However, our main focus in development of our actual concept, which we believe will automatically be a reason for investors to join us in!
