Considering I already contacted everybody else (all remaining users from your list appear also in the other two topics), only he remains to be contacted. This is both ridiculous and sad and it makes me remember that in 2018 I was also scammed by someone and also with 20$ (facepalm). Same as you, I did not believe that someone would be in such hunger to eat the dirt from under his fingernails and try a 20$ scam. I was wrong. Same as you...

Would you like to describe what happened? Do you have more details? Is there a topic which can be used as reference or screenshots of the discussion between you and the scammer, showing undeniable proof that he scammed you? If so, you can make  topic in Scam Accusation board, using the scam report format from here and the scammer will be exposed, limiting his future actions inside the forum. Besides, he may also be tagged with negative feedbacks by DT users. I hope this helps.

Well, I think it's better, for accuracy purposes, to have listed only active users, and those which still offer escrow services. If they are inactive or if they ceased offering the service (such as krogoth or Hhampuz), what's the reason for listing them...? It may only lead to confusion. After all, not all users read Trust pages (especially if they are new on the forum). And listing some which don't offer escrow anymore may lead to have users contacting them asking for escrow, while they are not interested in doing this anymore... (They could also report those PMs as being unsolicited, which may lead to other problems.)

Same is true about inactive ones: some users (which do not read Trust pages) may contact inactive ones and wait, in vain, for them to answer. This may also lead to having deals cancelled and so on...

And, after all, the purpose of this topic was to correct what was inaccurate in the other two topics about escrows... And what was inaccurate there was the fact that they contain obsolete users (inactive or which stopped acting as escrows) and the topic authors are no longer interested in having their topics up to date. Now, since a third topic was created, let's have this one, at least, up to date

I could do it faster by sending a message if they could reply to the message that could be fine for keeping it and if no response then I could remove it. But I do not want to send a message right now to disturb him/her.

BitCoinDream usually does not come on the forum but s/he used to come online if see any important message. And s/he was active only a few days ago (March 08, 2023, 02:11:02 PM).

Thank you for deleting this users too, thus making the list from OP even more accurate. If you remember I told you about their refusal since Feb 3rd... In any case, it is good that you contacted them and you got your own confirmation about their position.

Well, on the same basis you contacted krogoth and Hhampuz, without thinking you disturb them, right? There is no point in thinking you will disturb someone if you ask him about his service.

So don't let yourself think that you may disturb someone... You won't. Think about what happens if some users contact them after seeing them in your list and they will either receive no answer or they'll be told (by ninjaboon / BitCoinDream) they are not escrows anymore. It would be a time lost by those users which are contacting escrows which are not escrows anymore. They may even lose precious deals if they PM an escrow and the escrow never replies. This is why it's important to have the list very accurate.

If you want, I can try to PM them, I have no problem with that.

Recently, A user created a reputation thread regarding Dabs Escrow service. You can read it here; Dabs for to offer escrow service?. Dabs' is having some difficulties with his financial Condition. The guy pointed it out, but we haven't heard anything from Dabs. He has some active loans from zazarb and DarkStar_ (which is why T3PR00T created that thread). I am unsure if he is still acting as escrow since I haven't asked him personally.

Moreover, His ANN thread didn't get any replies since 2021. When the last time he replied, His minimum fee was 0.03 BTC which is too much considered the Bitcoin Market Today. I believe he is discontinued his service, or maybe he is not updating for some reason. May you want to make sure by contacting Dabs?

I have removed Dabs from the trusted escrow provider list as Dabs has an active loan and based on the required time I can't see any repayment also there is no announcement about the time extension. Also after the required time, there is no login. Once there is an update or repaid the loan I will add Dabs again to the trusted escrow provider list.

Thank you for updating this topic regularly, shasan! I also wanted to suggest you to remove Dabs for the reason you stated and also for the fact that he never replied to my PM from January.

Other than that, please also remove John (John K.). He also never replied to my PM from January. Besides, this user was last seen in November last year and, more important, his last post was made on April 8th, 2020, which is 3 years ago. There is no reason for keeping him in the list.

This was also suggested by PX-Z here, in February and by me as well, also in February.

If you PMed John K. and he did not reply to you as well, I believe it's safe to remove him from the list. As far as I remember, last time when I talked to him (which happened in 2020), he told me that although he still browses the forum from time to time, he is not active anymore. You can also see that by looking at the date of his last post. Considering these, there is no reason for keeping him the the list of escrow providers.

Now the topic is 100% up to date and it contains only active, valid and reliable escrows!



While it is somehow surprising to see that, out of 3.5M users, only 8 act as escrow, at least those looking for such service will find help if they read this topic.

For comparison, we can take a look at the obsolete lists from the other two topics related to escrow services: first one contains 11 users, from which only 4 are valid, while second topic contains 14 users, from which only 6 are valid. Practically, any user find those threads, by pure unluck, will have 50-70% chances to contact an invalid escrow and be scammed, wait for nothing, lose their deal, risk having their PM reported etc.

I am more than happy to see this topic offering only valid information and I will try to bring my contributions to keep it up in the topics list of Service Discussion board, by bumping it from time to time with valuable information.
