If you mean recovery at the previous ATH level, that is not really important here. Because, in the long run, that level will surely be surpassed. But, despite the bloodbath, as you put it, the bitcoin price has remained relatively stable for something like 8 weeks. I believe this is a positive sign and a good thing to see. Even if the price jumps to $15K in the next couple of months, it would be interesting to see if this reduced volatility at the new level will be established again. BTW, I think this scenario is not very likely unless there is a serious influx of money from somewhere. But the reduced volatility means bitcoin is behaving more and more like a stable coin, which might be good for larger scale adoption.

Well technically if we see the long charts and follow good traders everyone is expecting a breakout soon, although the triangle can break down as well but as we are in long downtrend so it is largely estimated that market will be able to break above and we will see reversal from there.

I would say the bull run should be expected by early 2019. So far the btc price has been remarkably stable for few months now. Market news (positive or negative) hasn't really influenced it in any way and I think this is a very good sign. The bull run is building up ladies and gentlemen. Hodl those coins tightly

It seems to me that the price stability of Bitcoin is specifically kept for the adoption of ETF, because the SEC has pointed out this deficiency many times. Maybe I'm wrong and my opinion is wrong. It seems to me that by the new year there will not be much growth and I think that we will achieve the price of $ 8500-9000. The main growth will come in the summer of 2019, after the launch of the ETF.

Nobody can predict what will this market be like in December cause it's much more difficult to predict about this crypto market than before. I think we are still far away. In order for the bull run to start on the Etherium and Bitcoin needs to fall to $ 130 for the ether and $ 4500 - $ 5000 for the Bitcoin, only in this case it is worth waiting for strong growth.

Hard to say exactly when the next bull run will start but I think there is still some time left, cannot really see bull happening in 2018. We have some stronger stability right now and I just cannot see any real reasons why a bull run should start right now.

For a bull run we need new and fresh money to flood the market and for fresh money we need something to catch the eye of normal everyday people.

In my opinion, I think it's hard to say if the market is recovering or not. Save for the stability in the price of BTC, there's no clear sign there's going to be a bull run in the coming months. For there to be any major bull run, new money needs to come into the market by way of institutional investments.

a few older solid projects with real use cases will probably get another few bulls before btc encroaches upon their use case

the snake oil crypto 2.0 and 3.0 and 4.0 will fail to improve upon btc when you take the trustless, security, decentralised nature into full consideration.

if you want to gamble on your timing getting in and out of projects with greater long term profit than btc then you better know what you are doing or just hold btc

I agree with that. If we break that famous 6800 resistance we could easily go in bull run, and a lot of professional traders are predicting that in close future.

Hard to say when because the price seems to be stable, at least for bitcoin and we all know that every coins has this sort of correlation to bitcoin's price.

The only reason I think that a bull run is going to happen is that if Bitcoin ETF is approved, it has been postponed so we don't know when the SEC will handed down its decision.

Relying on information gathered on the technical analysis(TA), we must be somewhere in the middle of market correction. Better to be prepared market will not recover anytime soon.

It could happen anytime now, Bitcoin is now stable and it is for the last 5 weeks so anytime I big pump is going to happen just like what happen last year we just need to be patient I notice some altcoins are making great progress too, we still have over two months so so we hope everything will be like last year.
