Lose, Lose and then Lose again.  Somehow I can still laugh about it when I am talking about how I ended up losing a lot of tokens. It is the hardest time of trading by now. The sudden dumps just happens regularly but unpredicted. Ethereum with the sudden plunge again with -$30. I guess most traders here fell the same way I do by now. |

Making some money on the side but not that hefty as compared to last year's gains but still, a profit is a profit. I'm trying to distance myself away from the alts for a little while as they seem to be even more unstable and unpredictable compared to bitcoin. What I'm doing is just buying on the lows and whenever it pushes, say 3-5% of my initial entry, I'd take it and wait for another few weeks or so. This has worked well for me, despite the fact that I'm not earning much from this trading scheme.
For me,i'm still gaining profit through participating in some potential bounties and gave me good income even if the market is bearish.But with trading,i still keep on holding my coins and whenever a good price increase is seen,i will sell some of them and buy and hold again. |

Few know that you can trade usd/bitcoin and make money in this bearish trend all you just need to do is change your analysis from what you are used to to what is happening now and you will make money.
It is hard to make money in a bear market but as long as you are able to discipline yourself, I guess it is not that hard. It requires a lot of knowledge and discipline but I can say there is no doubt that I have been making some little profit in this market even with its bearish condition. Once you have a strategy to play with and you stick with it without any form of emotion, it would always be an easy thing to achieve. However, it depends on the market you are trading as a sane person should not even be considering trading altcoins at the moment or too many of them, based on how volatile they can get, I would rather stick with trading bitcoin for the mean time and making money from the fluctuations. |

Falling market is additional opportunity of getting profit. So I always try to find such fractals of confirmed downtrend and make money on it. But first of all I always try to protect my money and use stop loss. |

This year is very bad in crypto market and i was loss alot of money because all crypto going down. And from this case now i make new strategy how to avoid loss from the bearish market of crypto. Lesson learned and i will never do the same mistake again.
This year is not actually a bad year and being bad or good actually depends on the way you have decided to see things. For what it is worth, we cannot expect the market to just keep going on without a correction at some point which is what we are seeing now and corrections are always there to pick the market at a much lower value as the case may be. Avoiding loss only depends on you as an individual, either you are a trader or an investor, what is important is to always have a strategy to make market decisions as that would usually guide you in every way. Simply as a trader, to trade a bear market, you most definitely need knowledge as you cannot do without it. |

but I have a different way from you, when the market crashes like now, I prefer to hold and add more coins that I invest. because I'm sure coin prices will rise again, although some investors withdrew from crypto. I still maintain confidence by holding a coin. because if I do things like you, I'm worried that I will get trapped deeper |

It is really hard to gain a profit on a bearish market, most probably you will lose when you trade a coin because of large chances that the price will go down but for me i lessen my trade transactions when it is bearish market instead i buy coins with low price and stable movement with the past few weeks. Gaining with this bearish market is hard but making bearish market an opportunity to make profit when the bull runs is possible. |

It is very hard to make profit in this bearish market but still it is possible if you have good strategy. This could be a very good time to invest though while everything is not so expensive and a slight pump could give profit, just don't let greed take over you. |

The prices are fluctuating which we cannot able to guess the values exactly, so it is very good to hold the coins instead of selling for little profits. We have to stay strong when the market is in completely bearish suddenly the prices will drop.

Yes, but there are a lot of risks that happen when the market suddenly drops. To optimize returns and without risk, we should trade USDT. It's an altcoin that keeps the price and never gets you lost. I have an older brother, he dropped a pretty big amount of that $ 500k to trade USDT. And one day he earns the most money at $ 22k3. That's a good way to make money at this point. |

Yeah! Actually, I got 200$ worth in bounties even there is a bear market. I am happy with that because I only consume my free time and I earn while at my house. But I always seek for a big amount of money specially when bull run market will start. I just keeping the rest of my coins to my wallet. |

Making money in this bear market is to difficult mate. Which is unless if you want to make day trading with some coin that has potential to earn quick profits. But must trade a big amount as well in my opinion so that you can gain enough profits on it. Because doing day trading with small amount nowadays is wasting of time which you can earn cents only because market still not stable. .
Definitely, having trade on bear market is risky at all because of very unstable price where most probably will go down. It is too difficult to gain a profit in a bear market since the prices are too low unless you will risk huge amount to gain. We are experiencing a sudden spike on this bear market which causes the coins to bounce rapidly, up and down. For me bear market is not a good time for trading but a great time for buying and holding. |

Well that is why we call it as bear market,if you didn't prepared for this then you are going to lose and lose or just hold until the price go bullish.Definitely it is not hard time for the traders in my opinion if they are day trader because they will be trading all the way no matter of what the prices so they doing trading even from beginning of this bear market so the chances of losing money is less and also they can use the current volatility range to make money. |

Well basically the bear market we are experiencing right now is like a sale of coins/tokens in the market to those investors who has no chance to invest in ICOs last year in so many good projects which are in development right now the price is much lower than in ICO or even in presale once the market has fully recovered we will see a very good profit on it, next year is very near maybe we can see a bullish market.

Only trader that sold all crypto on december and bring the money in to others asset was make money, and trader that still trade since january till now has been loss alot money because all crypto was going down up to 90% . Lesson learned, greedy and FOMO was bring us loss much money.

If you have your money in Bitcoin you will be losing it when the price is falling,that’s why some people go for stable coins like USDT or TUSD. Bitcoin fluctuates, so any money you have in it when the price is falling will be decreasing as the market continues to fall. I usually take out everything I have, unless I had plans to save money with it till the next pump, that’s the only time I can leave it there. And by the way you can still make money when there is bear market. |

I have a lot of confidence in bitcoin even though I'm pretty much ineffective now, I'm not good at trading I'm a woman who still has more to learn in the world of crypto so now I'm almost not earning but i hope theres a bull run coming 😢

Also the community is very helpful and I learned a lot new information and ways to cope with emotional trading.
