Blockchain technology is a very unique and beautiful program which was created today but I just realized it could be the solution for corruption which was happening all over the world. The Government works for the public right? So the public should be allowed to view what or where the money goes. It would be nice if we could view the public wallet or government funds and you can view each transactions. The blockchain transactions can be viewed publicly. We are paying taxes for the benefit of our country so it would be nice if this kind of technology will be implemented. What are your thoughts? Could this be possible or not?

In my opinion, blockchain technology is a very useful for the transparency of every transactions. If the government would allow to use this kind of technology then everything must be put in place and no more hidden transactions by the politicians. Their would be a clean governance at all.

public officials are not that easy in corruption. if you use blockchain in a payment transaction then they can break coins to the smallest part to hide state assets. we must remember that rulers tend to be corrupt. So there needs to be a new rule if the country uses blockchain technology for payment transactions.

Wait a seconds, we can actually do that already but the only problem is we cant know from whom the transactions is being made and to whom it is being made. I mean crypto currency is already very much open source and whenever a transaction is broadcasted over the blockchain then it is embedded in the blocks and stays there forever and you can always see it through the block explorer. I dont think you need any additional features to be added to see it.
As I mentioned its the only name of the person which cant be disclosed as one can have thousands of addresses and wallets and thus no name attached to it really.

I guess you are only here because "Blockchain" can give you some money in a fast way. That is the reason for most of the people coming here and that is for the money. |

I don't think blockchain is the solution for corruptions because it could also be used for it. Yes, it is created to revolutionize the evolution of investment which makes all people became the same level in this business. |

It is very difficult to get approval. If the blockchain technology is so easy to convert, the SEC has been in the market since July and we do not need to be upset now. It will be a long process that needs to be undergoing many adjustments. That is my own opinion.

All we know that the blockchain technology is made for cryptocurrency only and blockchain technology is the future of the technology I think so. Governments have been implementing Blockchain Technology for transparency already. One such case is Canada, https://explorecatena.com/. As you can see in their website, you can go and browse government spending thru Blockchain. You can even see it in explorer so its there's no doubt that you know where the money is going. I'm sure that this is just the beginning and other governments will also implement it on their backyard, or maybe some of them are already is, but it was not yet reported. |

Actually, that was more like the first thing that would always come to mind when referring to blockchain technology. Let everything be opened to the whole world. I believe in the case like this, transparency and accountability which has even been the major challenge for some countries all over the world that are underdeveloped and totally ridden with corruption to be able to have something in place that would make it pretty hard for anyone to have to do something and have it covered up when it comes to looting of funds. This is something that I would expect anyway but all depends on whether the government itself is ready for this or not. |

It is quite interesting to see the blockchain technology being used by the Canadian government and I believe like you said, this is just a start. However, we also have to understand that it all balls down from the whole system of governance straight from the leader, and for some of the countries where corruption is a deep issue, and the leaders are not even ready to combat it as they are the main culprit, this would be hard to come by. As time goes on anyway, we will get to see most of them come around and I can tell something like this would really bring about a huge level of transparency within the government in general as well as even the citizens, and that is something pretty good. |

When rulers are corrupt, there are sometimes when they feel their hand is tied, it would be hard to do somethings. I feel you that one way or the other, they could try to find another means to keep doing their corrupt deals, but imagine in a situation where everything has gone digital, most governments are already on the blockchain and we have gone cashless, every transaction made by everyone most especially for the fact that it is centralized, will make it pretty easy to track any shady deals, and everyone can easily access these records, then I feel it would really go a long way to bring about some changes in governance, but all still depends on some few factors which balls down from the head anyway. |

That's a good idea. But the characteristics of blockchain technology are without intermediaries, which is why it attracts many investors around the world. This will be a spectacular change and it can have a huge impact on this market. That is my personal opinion, very happy to receive the opposite opinion from everyone.

The importance of blockchain technology can never be over emphasized. we've seen the old companies even trying to adapt meaning there's some sense in it. Just today, an article from Cointelegraph said Kenya has started implementing in a housing policy. I also read somewhere sometime ago that a part of India is also implementing in issuing birth certificates. It's really a great invention

Blockchain is a good technological system. It is good, but too good to be true. What I wanna say is, blockchain has potential to make it better, but unfortunately bitcoin itself which using blockchain inside hasn't been accepted in all over the world. So, blockchain would be really advantages if it is legalized first, and of course the advantages for the country as you say can be gained and will be profitable both for investors, and also government.
