How do i maintain my BITCOINTALK rank?

Hi guys, i've been a jr member for awhile then I logged in after 2 weeks of inactivity and now I am back as a Newbie... How do I up rank and maintain my position above >Newbie?

[BPIP] Who are your biggest merit fans? Who do you send all of your sMerit to? .. Do you.. MATR?? O_o

You'll need to earn yourself a merit in order to become a Jr. Member and move up from your Newbie rank. Normally there is no effort in maintaining a rank, as once it is attained it is kept. The only reason you reverted back to Newbie status was because there was a change recently that requires 1-merit to become a Jr. Member, which ended up ranking a lot of Jr. Members back to Newbie.

Earn yourself a merit, and your rank will be promoted and maintained as is your goal. Merit is earned by contributing to the community in a informative, entertaining or altruistic manner. These are the kinds of things I have seen merited.

You are not alone. A while back all Jr. members with 0 merit were demoted. Now you need at least 1 merit to rank up. You can read more about it here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2818350.0

Looking at your post history, it might be difficult for you, as you have mainly just made bounty related posts. Engage in quality discussions without worrying about merits. That way you have more chances!

I read through the new requirements for newbies. You off course need merits to do so. The community need more value to it so that's how you get a merit, make worthwhile post, things like that.

Now you want to rank up Jr member you need one merit point. One merit point is not hard if you write some quality post then you can get merit point.
