As mining and power consumption continues to grow and strain our natural resources,
Midori Chain strives to eliminate mining by offering a Proof of Stake Masternode network and develop a currency that's secure, safe, and less harmful to our environment, yet still offering the same value and ease of use as blockchain currencies.
We decided to start this project by focusing on a

Midori’s first priority is the community. We will try to involve our users both in the development of our ecosystem and in community life. We will run contest, giveaways and discussions. In the future we plan to organize coding summer camps to teach how to build green POS blockchains to students or interested people.
The
Midori Team is international, our members are from US, India, UK, Italy and Australia. The Team is multi-professional and covers project management, marketing and blockchain development abilities. We also have extensive knowledge of the cryptocurrency space and masternode communities to bring to you a cryptocurrency that will measure up over time.
The Midori team has therefore decided to diversify its goals. Currently, we are developing (in Alpha phase) different services that will be able to utilize Midori as a payment currency.
We are developing a service for the easy installation and management of masternodes, an online store for the purchase of different types of products, a website for Crowdfunding both for physical products and for the advertising of ICO proposals.
Goals
Short TermImplement a restaurant listings and review portal where anyone can list, review, comment, like and share restaurants and other food services. Rewards for activities will be paid to the users in Midori. The listing and reviews service is currently being developed and set for public beta release in Q1 2019. We are currently in discussions with some US based food services to work in cooperation for early listing.
Long TermMake it very simple to list, review, communicate and socialise around food with the rewards for doing so, paid to the participants in Midori. Delivery drivers, restaurant listings, user reviews, will all have a role to play and will solidify the use case of Midori for main stream use through simplified applications that allows users to earn passive income through cryptocurrency doing day-to-day tasks they currently do now.
