What advantages they can bring to business in comparison with other blockchain projects? For example Aergo is also a 4.0 blockchain for business as like as many others new projects.

Do you mean by "horizontally scalable" a DAG based protocol? Vite, Fantom have the same (DAG with smartcontracts). And Vite has already launched mainnet few month ago 150 developers in the team or 150 devs who works on different daaps on this blockchain (DAG)? |

- TOP has smartcontracts
the team builds an ecosystem. currently mobile high quality games and a messenger ala telegram. a part is still responsible for the mainnet. current a capazity from 2000 TPS / second with 1000 nodes and 4 shards, more shards in planning.
top has a public and a business chainsystem
fantom has no mainnet and vite is a exchange and not an ecosystem.

But how are they going attract people to this massenger? We have a lot of popular massenger already which are using by millions people. Why people should move to another one? As for competitors:Yes, Fantom has not launched mainnet yet. Vite launched mainnet already. And it has smartcontracts too. Exchange - their addittional service. |

The difference is that TOP already has 80 million users of it's own through a VoiP/Social, Encrypted Chat, and VPN apps. These users will be ported to TOP Network. Most projects don't have any users, let alone 80 million users many of which are paying customers. Loose "partnerships" with companies that have users is not the same. Also decentralized messengers is just one use case, although I would note that it's not just a "blockchain messenger." TOP is building/built two separate things: a high-performance blockchain, and a full-stack decentralized communications infrastructure helped by the existing infrastructure from Dingtone, CoverME, and SkyVPN. Most only have the blockchain part. Also, TOP employs RCS communications protocol, which is considered the future of messaging. Google and other big names are all switching. Any app that uses RCS can be made interoperable, so TOP communications DApps could work with other popular communications apps, so the user does not have to choose one and be walled off from the rest of the world. |

These apps will be ported to TOP Network along with all the users. The users will barely notice a switch. TOP Token will become the payment to service providers, user incentives, to pay for VPN data etc. For the VPN app as an example, the SkyVPN or BitVPN networking infrastructure will become proxy or relay nodes on TOP Proxy service network (of course anyone will be able to become service nodes as well).
