How can we get people to use bitcoin as a currency?

Most people all around the world are not aware about bitcoin or crypto currency so far. But most of merchants all over the world are now accepting or adapting the features and usage of bitcoin as mode of payment to their personal business as well. I know you know all about the volatility of cryptocurrencies especially Bitcoin since there are a lot of users that can affect the price because it is a decentralized cryptocurrency. With the price getting lower the last year, you think that merchandisers will keep on accepting them? That will be their loss and also, investors or users might not use it instead hold it until it gives them good profit in the future.

If we could gain a progress on online salers, this is going to be a real use of bitcoin. But these online salers must comply with regulations and bitcoin is not accepted by officials as a currency. I don't know when these officials change their mind or how we can make them change their minds.

Also we haven't got a big user access to bitcoin in the marketplace as well in daily life. When this increases automatically people get adopted to it similar to the one happened with debit cards and credit cards.

the problem with bitcoin as a currency is that its very volatile, it needs to become stable so the people will entice to make it more than just a way to earn money but as a stable currency, well bitcoin just working in it, lets just wait its great development in five years.

Bitcoin is already a currency but it is not yet really used like the fiat currencies. The reason is that it is not yet supported everywhere as a payment method either online or offline. That is why people still considering Bitcoin mainly as an asset, they trade and hold it for making good profits.

Yeah, I dont think bitcoin is being used as currency, I see that bitcoin just a asset to invest for profit. People holding bitcoin are rare so it is not volatility.

Honestly, I think that we could get people to use Bitcoin as a currency by giving away some satoshis for free. This will encourage them to use Bitcoin as a currency, as well as, a store of value for the long term. Also, one needs to explain thoroughly the benefits of the Bitcoin blockchain for average people to become interested in it. Of course, Bitcoin's high fees and slowness prevents it from being used as a currency. But, if the network load remains on a minimum (until the Lightning Network goes full steam ahead), then fees could remain low, while the speed of transaction confirmations doesn't affect itself in the short term.

With good dedication and perseverance, I'm sure that we could get as many people as possible to use Bitcoin as a currency, taking Fiat's place in the future. Hence, the more popular Bitcoin is, the better for us as prices will rise to astronomical levels due to high demand.

well, maybe education about bitcoin is very influential in this matter. we know that bitcoin is very well known for now. however, we know that there are still very few people who don't really understand how it works. well, but I'm sure, that in the future, people will definitely use bitcoin naturally.

When people realized that having Bitcoin is simple and secure, they might possibly decide to join in. The better way to make understand it is to give them or let them have a Crypto wallet where it shows the basic feature of Crypto which are open source code, peer to peer transfer, decentralization and user friendly feature. I have tried to convince people to use bitcoin and its advantages but believe me it is not easy to change the people conservative minds. They are not willing to accept any change. Also when they see that bitcoin price is above 3000$, they think it is risky to invest in it. Its only people like us who know that this is the lowest price of bitcoin, but generally people do not believe in such new techs.

I have some friends tried to use it to their daily payments but most of them really don't want to use it that's why I can say that it is really hard to get more people to use Bitcoin to their daily payments. And I think we can't really tell them it is just easy as a fiat that they use because most of them are afraid to lose their money.

I think it is really hard to convince people to used bitcoin specially when they don't even know what it is. I believe that we really need to convince everyone step buy step in order for them to understand the Benifits and the advantages of using it. Agree. Not everyone is accustomed to using digital or electronic cash for their daily purchases. Fiat currency has had a deep impact on everyone's lives for many years. For people to use Bitcoin as a currency, there needs to be confidence in it, the same way there is for the USD. Considering the regulatory uncertainty surrounding Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, it's very unlikely people will gain confidence in them anytime soon. However, as time goes by, Bitcoin will improve in many ways from being scalable to being regulatory compliant across diverse cryptocurrency exchanges.

As Fiat currency decays, people will shift their attention towards other alternatives that will help maintain their spending power. This means, that people will adopt Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies for their own needs, especially because such medium of exchange does not rely on middleman or a central authority. Despite this, one needs to slowly introduce people into Bitcoin to help accelerate the process of adoption within the mainstream world. Just my thoughts

making bitcoin into a payment tool, this really depends on each country,  if a country supports and provides supporting facilities for businesses that use bitcoin as a medium of exchange then making bitcoin as a currency is easy,  but if we are domiciled in a country that rejecting bitcoin then making bitcoin as a means of payment is very unlikely,  so it all depends on the policies of each country.

well, if you are looking for this in a country, or someone who uses their bitcoin as money to shop in the real world, I think that is still very difficult to find. besides, there are only a few places like that. but, I think that there are many who make transactions on the internet, not only to get fast transactions, or profits, but to buy things they want on the internet.
