Do they want to decrease amount of mining coins? The amount of coins in circulating increased from 5 mln to 27 mln in just few month. This looks crazy...

The emissions schedule is set and will not change.

Its too bad. I dont any sense invest with such big emissions. Everyday coins are adding in circulating and price will decrease day by day untill they will stop emissions in 8 years or so...

so you need something that you can buy today and dump tomorrow, right?
Beam has a 133 year mining opportunity to allow your own grandchildren to be a part of this great technology.

What will the video memory requirements be on the new pow algo?

it will be more mem-reliable, with better efficiency and easier 'smart-tune' ability.

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

They announced hardfork on the middle of August.

https://twitter.com/beamprivacy/status/1151090259993776128

But I dont see significant changes. Better they must decrease mining amount or make a coins burn to decrease such big emissions.

Why would any miner want to burn their coins? Simply enjoy and hodl. You won't be disappointed unless you set out to disappoint yourself.

I just know that BEAM has a very huge community in Korea, that played important role for the past growth and future growth of BEAM coin, in my opinion. Korean communities will give BEAM a very huge momentum for the project's future.

Advisory:

There seems to be a scam running which advises of a Beam airdrop. This is not a genuine event and Beam will never offer any kind of airdrop.
The scam has a telegram bot and fake Beam channels, if you are invited to join these, please report them as scams, they seem to be harvesting user email addresses and ETH addresses.

Please report the following two groups as fake. Give the real groups instead:

@beam_community -> Real group is @BeamPrivacy
@beam_announcement -> Real group is @BeamNews

Beam DOESN'T do any kind of airdrops nor will we ever ask any kind of personal information from you.
Be careful not to be scammed.

thank you, stay safe out there.
