I read that news too, but I am little confused that RIB ban is for all banks then how unocoin will transact crypto with cash without any help from banks side. but anyway if it is true then it is good for us and time to party. cheersssss

I think it's working is similar to koinex deposit and widrawal model which is koinex is using right now.

I think the fee structure will be too high to afford and also what about the transaction time.? Its definitely a good step and I welcome it but it will be too hard to run a service like this in India right now.

That's a good news. But, in a previous blog post, UnoCoin stated this...

In India, though there are no clear laws governing virtual currencies, RBI guidelines debars non-bank entities from setting up ATMs. They are forbidden from issuing prepaid virtual currency cards. These rules effectively close the door on BTMs being set up in India. It remains to be seen if the RBI and the government would reverse their stand and allow BTMs to be set up once the burgeoning cryptocurrency market can’t be ignored anymore.
