It surely wouldn't be reasonable about year ago, but today, who knows? I guess the market will tell. Personally I think 1 error is still more valuable than 2x 2013 brass 0.5.

I have a 2011 Brass 1.0 "Error" ANACS MS 65 (Vintage Yellow Label) I plan to add to my sales thread over the weekend. I just collected it from my bank box a few hours ago. I am not looking to trade at this time, but if you are interested in purchase shoot me a pm or wait until I post the coin this weekend.
Just my opinion, I don't think your proposed trade would work straight up. I think you would have to add a few tenths of a btc to even out the premium discrepancy.

I was looking for a straight up trade : (2) .5 cas ungraded coins for a 2011 cas single error. Is this reasonable?
Maybe if they were silver

ok let me pose this another way. which would you rather have a 5 single cas coins, or one 5 btc coin?
which 5 cas singles? 2011 brass s1, 2011 brass s2, 2013 brass? Or even silvers? Assuming you only mean brass, I would take 5 x 2011 Brass 1.0 s2 hologram over your other choices If including silvers, I would take 10 x 0.5 silver s2 Edit to add: I highly recommend you acquire a copy, if you do not have one, of the Encyclopedia of Physical Bitcoins. It is available through Mantis Prime via minerjones.

Bitcoinwaist, the point is there are different Casascius coin versions and for mintage number and other reasons they have vastly different premiums. Start here: https://coinfirm.org/ebookThe pdf version of the Casascius Coin section is free to download. Read it. Feel free to then ask more questions.

I was just trying to help as you sounded like a new comer.

The 2011 s2 has the lowest mintage of brass singles, the 2011 s1 is the first and an "error", the 2013 is quite common. They do not have the same value. Never have.

Thread wasn't hijacked. You had people explaining and offering resources to aide you in this trade/conversation. You're in a collectibles forum where details matter (to the tune of $100s if not $1000s)... what did you expect?
