The tendency is there for bitcoin the universal currency of the world. Bitcoin prices are still unstable in the market but our fingers are crossed..The reason for the possibility is that bitcoin is already a pioneer,a king and a hero.

You can forget about that, because governments will hang onto their own fiat currencies for the mere fact that they can control all aspects of it and also for the sentimental side of having a strong tradition and history with that currency. A lot of people will not support a "Cashless" society, because of cultural problems and also high levels of people with little or no education. You also have conflict between countries and we see these problems with stronger economies, having to carry weaker countries.  |

No , it can not. There is literally not enough coins for a global currency. (Not even with the ridiculous 8 decimal point division to smaller increments.) If it survives the ever increasing electricity costs, then it's price will continue to grow and no one will be able to afford it but the ultra rich, therefore at best it will have a limited elite market only. Bitcoin Scarcity insures it is only for the rich, and therefore will never be universally used. |

Bitcoin will be acceptable across the globe. But it would be a bit utopian to expect all countries to accept the same way. Some will forbid it and some will adopt it completely.

Actually bitcoin has almost become a world currency, like dolllar or euro. Everyone know about the bitcoin today and every new day more people invest to cryptocurrency and bitcoin. So what else we can say to bitcoin? But in near future the bitcoin may become the universal digital currency and in like 2035-2040 may become world official currency..
Agree for some extend because considering the popularity, demand and also the value it has gained among many investors and traders in the world it is very bitcoin has the ability to give a good competition for major currencies like USD and EURO in the current trading world and if this progress of bitcoin continues in the future definitely very soon this will become an universal currency in the world with large amount of users and acceptance |

in my opinion that could happen. when all countries legalize crypto currencies and all countries accept crypto currencies as a means of transacting, crypto currencies can become global currencies. but before becoming a world currency, we must increase human resources so that we can use this currency.

Look, the world today is already adapting such electronics payment by using electronics card and its proven to be effective and bitcoin is a kind of electronics money and there is no such different on that, in fact there more advantage of using bitcoin as a crypto currency compared to the traditional electronics card and above all the world is really moving and escalating to seek more efficient technology so blockchain technology was born and no doubt that bitcoin as crypto currency will the the world's universal money in the near future. |

Well for me there is a big possibilities that bitcoin can be a universal currency, maybe it was not yet implemented now but I think in the future it will be implemented as you can see many country now are using bitcoin as a payment in their country and many country now are adopting bitcoin to be another currency so let us wait until it was implemented all over the world. |

Bitcoin can't be the universal currency of the world, at least in the nearest future. The BTC usability around the world is still really limited, compared to fiat usability. In addition, most governments worldwide keep supporting their local fiat currencies, and not supporting any cryptocurrency, including Bitcoin of course.
Maybe after some decades, when people start using BTC a lot more, they will force governments and banks to start support crypto.

Replace fiat is not really good thing to happen. If bitcoin and fiat can adopted together will be very good, because out there some people still don't have access to bitcoin's technology. |

Bitcoin will certainly achieve it, b ut we don't have to rush to reach that point, slowly but surely people will accept Bitcoin especially if we advise them to accept transactions using Bitcoin. University is the right place to be a pioneer for this, I mean not just accepting donations, it can be used in campus like paying tuition fees for example. |
