Wouw! The number 1 is huge! 80.000 BTC makes $520.000.000 is anormous money! And it is madness! If i were him i could kill myself.. Also the China should thanks to Jet Li, as far as i see he is the one of the biggest reason for Chinese people to buy bitcoin in 2013. And if can collect more bitcoin now i know that i can use it to buy Lamborgini Diablo Smiley

very good, and out there, are lots of funny and interesting things about bitcoin, including it's about when Laszlo Hanyecz offers 10000 bitcoin on the Bitcointalk forum for 2 servings of pizza.

and this is why it's called "bitcoin pizza day"

I saw this part 1:
1. Active account 1FeexV6BAHb8ybZjqQMjJrcCrHGW9sb6uF which has 79,957,19633625 BTC continues to receive bitcoin but nothing is sent out and remains inactive since it was created in 2011.

Is it true that bitcoin is 79,957,195,336 BTC as many people do not have it? then where is the person? is it dead or is it still there? this is a very interesting fact because there is always someone who sends a number of bitcoins into the wallet even if only a little.

I didn't know that Vancouver was the first city to have a BTC machine, I got one question though, when did this exactly happened? and when was it established?

It's on Oct 29, 2013 that first bitcoin machine was launched and operated in Waves Cafe in Vancouver Canada. It was  hosted by Vancouver-based Bitcoiniacs and Nevada-based Robocoin unfortunately it ceased it operation in January 2016.

I got curious about number 1 if who's the owner of that 79,957.19634291 BTC and his current transaction was yesterday only with a transaction that receives 0.00000666 BTC.....

Quote from:  gesdan

urban myth is that it's a miner's wallet who give up on bitcoin and then lose the key and can't find anywhere that's why it's still receiving but owner can't spend/use it anymore.

Is it true that bitcoin is 79,957,195,336 BTC as many people do not have it? then where is the person? is it dead or is it still there? this is a very interesting fact because there is always someone who sends a number of bitcoins into the wallet even if only a little.

yes, you can check and verify the address.

.. snip ..
12. In 2013, a physical bitcoin was minted by a man named Mike Caldwell and called it Casascius bitcoins (most known images used by many)  but shut down by US government due to anti-money-laundering and financial crime regulations.

And maybe you can ask the man himself, because he is a distinguished member of this community, here is the link to his profile: Mike CaldwellGrin

oh, wow...he's still somehow active here with last login Sept 21, 2018 and last post is Dec 2017. That's pretty cool.

Been looking for some fun fact about bitcoin and thought of sharing here since some of them are new to me and maybe other can also learn something from it. I listed top 12 favourite  which I find amusing and interesting.

1. A dormant account 1FeexV6bAHb8ybZjqQMjJrcCrHGW9sb6uF that has 79,957.19633625 BTC continously received bitcoin but nothing was sent out and remain inactive since it's created in 2011.

2. Google and Richard Branson invested in 2017 in Blockchain wallet.

3. Bitcoin started to get the attention of China when an actor Jet Li received  230 bitcoin as donation for his foundation in 2013.

4. Lamborghini is the first car company to accept bitcoin as payment for a car....now we know where "When Lambo" came from.

5. Mel B of Spice Girls is said to be the first musical artist to accept bitcoin as payment for her music.

6. In P2P foundation website, an account named Satoshi Nakamoto state that his only 43 today. If you look at some of his old post back to 2009 he said about bitcoin "'Ive developed a new open source P2P e-cash system called Bitcoin".

7. Bitcoin is not totally untraceable even with the use of VPN...this is proven when Silk Road was busted . Another fun fact about Silk Road, it is said that it's still unknown how many bitcoin Ross Ulbricht have.

8. Vancouver is the first city to have bitcoin machine.

9. Many financial institution already studying and exploring how to successfully use Blockchain. This is according to the survey made simultaneously by Accenture, Infosys and Deloitte last May 2018.

10. You can go to space using bitcoin as payment. In 2013, Virgin Galactic announced that Virgin Galactic customer can choose to pay with bitcoin.

11. In Feb 2018, many people were devastated when bitcoin fall to almost 53% in just one day but did you know that this is not the biggest fall of bitcoin in history? In April 2013, bitcoin price fell down 83%, from $259 to only $45.

12. In 2013, a physical bitcoin was minted by a man named Mike Caldwell and called it Casascius bitcoins (most known images used by many)  but shut down by US government due to anti-money-laundering and financial crime regulations.

How about you? What is your favorite fun fact about bitcoin?

My favorite is the "when lambo". How annoying it is when I've been hearing it out but before I admit that I'm also saying that word. I didn't know that's the origin on where it came from, now I know.  Grin

Interesting that one address first transaction received 79k+ BTC and it keeps on receiving dust amounts of bitcoin. Those coins there can be considered as burned bitcoins unless it will be moved to another wallet.

Well if we're being specific, Google itself didn't invest, its venture capital arm did. They also operate independently from Google so saying Google invested in Blockchain.com/.info is kind of inaccurate. This doesn't mean they're interested in Bitcoin or its wallets either, it's simply their job to bet on startups.

I also don't think the Lambo tidbit is real:

number 1 is very amazing receiving 79k bitcoin is a very large value if it can be sold in the current conditions, it is still a question of who owns bitcoin as much and even though it is not active but still accepts bitcoin is that fair?

Hi, agree that it's GV, Google's investment arm. I will edit my post.

But I will disagree with the lambo. Tomcar posted the blog they are accepting bitcoin payment thru Coinjar in 2016 and the Post Oak Motor Cars announced accepting bitcoin using Bitpay in 2018 but Tesla Model S from a Lamborghini dealership in Newport Beach, Calif was bought with Bitcoin also thru Bitpay in 2013.

https://money.cnn.com/2013/12/06/autos/tesla-bitcoin/index.html
https://www.cnbc.com/2013/12/09/buying-a-tesla-with-bitcoin-not-so-fast.html

Thank you for reading my post and I will edit my post about Google so as not to confuse people but please let me know if you think I'm still wrong about lambo  Smiley
