Facebook is a commercial platform. They wanted to ban cryptocurrency ads, but then they changed their minds.

They did not want to lose millions of dollars from the ads they received.

Yes! First the facebook has published the cryptocurrency advertisings anf made lots of Money. But then i don't know why that they stopped to publishinh suddenly. That was the very bad act for the crypto market and made the prices go down. But then again they changed their minds and started to public again last month. So i think that they are not sure is it good or bad..

I think Facebook is not against Bitcoin because if it was against it the CEO wouldn't have allowed cryptocurrency campaigns to be advertised on that platform.

Facebook banned only crypto related paid promotions mostly because it was trying to protect the community from scam ICOs. But they are changing their ad policies regarding cryptocurrency currently.

I think they understood that the decision was wrong and the lost a lot of money but didn't protect users because ICOs found the ways to overcome the ban.

Facebook is not against Bitcoin but rather intends to avoid the situation of misleading its community members through its paid advertisement. Users of facebook can post crypto and Bitcoin related topics on facebook without any penalty.

I think it in the same way too. Facebook do not want to have a connection to crypto because it can ruin its image if that ICO is scam maybe it can be reason for them to choose to banned some of crypto advertisement. We can not blame them for sure Mr. Zuckerberg wants to protect his own creation to be tools in some illegal activities using crypto. Hopefully, someday they stop to banned crypto because facebook is a great social media to use to introduced Cryptocurrency.

That's true Facebook is not against to bitcoin they want to protect people especially people that no idea about bitcoin. Because some people use bitcoin to make a fraud and scam people and that's why of this people the image of bitcoin bad to others. Facebook aware what's going in crypto thats why some ads need to ban in Facebook for the better of the people.

there are many problems that occur when they apply crypto ads to the Facebook column, many ico fail and cannot even be accounted for, eventually they forbid and I believe this is only temporary. They also do not want to be mistaken to respond to various negative reports about crypto, and this threatens their existence because they are related to investments that are not yet legal in general.

Thanks for sharing what you think and know. The crypto space needs systems and platforms who believe the underlying ideas behind the creation of cryptocurrency. Its either you believe or don't. Not advertising crypto related ads on facebook is a strong indication that the facebook team don't believe in the use of cryptocurrencies. People need to acquire some basic knowledge on how Bitcoin and cryptocurrency will transform the world's financial ecosystem if we all embrace this new technological advancement.

Declaring a negative attitude towards cryptocurrencies was associated with a large number of scammers in this area. Denying the obvious need for cryptocurrency in the world  is illogical and stupid. Facebook contains many pages related to cryptocurrencies and nobody forbids them, but restrictions associated with fraudsters must exist.

Facebook is a commercial platform. After they've banned cryptocurrency ads, they've realized that they could make a lot of money on it. That’s why they've changed their mind. The requirements for advertisers are tough though. Maybe, talks about Facebook creating their own token actually make sense. There is lots of money in crypto, and they want their piece of pie.

I also didn't see that Facebook was against bitcoin, but what I saw was just avoiding misuse of bitcoin ads on Facebook, so that the control of bitcoin ads on Facebook was tightened. And this is according to something positive where bitcoin can get better and Facebook also becomes more users.

facebook is never against cryptocurrencies rather it is against advertising fraud and scam project using their platform. They are only after protecting their users from fraud projects. What facebook is doing, fortunately is helping to identify scam projects which they will block from on set to use  face book platform. You can see this measure helps even the bounty hunters to identify ideal projects and work to promote such projects. I had an experience few days ago there is this project that some body introduce to me and immediately i want to chat some body and refer him the project face book flag the project as scam and inappropriate  to be in their platform

Yes I can approve that I can freely post anything about Ico and cryptocurrency and I am not getting any warning maybe they are not accepting ads related to cryptocurrency but you can still freely post on that kind of subject, and besides there are billions of users it's hard to trace them on what they are posting unless reported.

Well, from my point of view Facebook is not against bitcoin. In fact, Facebook has a huge number of user all over the world with their huge network they like to stay in a safe zone, In crypto market every now and then a number of projects being scammed so that's why Facebook banned ads of bitcoin.

On the other hand, if each of the city gets a farm of 100 rigs, my performance will be no different from the others, and still everyone will get 6 btc per hour. The only question is whether it will pay off.

- Indeed, facebook has no intention against bitcoin, they are just trying to protect all users from the propaganda and scams associated with crypto and bitcoin because in recent times, cases involving phishing through bitcoin and crypto have become so widespread, the government has paid a lot of attention to this issue. As a big company, facebook needs to intervene to protect their reputation and customers, even they do not want to stick to the law, these issues are very sensitive, but we can believe that, when all problems are resolved and the government allows, facebook is likely to be a leader in helping and promoting bitcoin

Obviously the Facebook is against bitcoin and again the reason is its volatile nature, this is human psychology that when the valuation of bitcoin is low people started calling it a scam or a bubble that would burst soon and due to its criticism, Facebook has banned crypto ads from its page so that it may not loose its users and following Facebook , Twitter has also banned it but the result are now according to them as after banning crypto ads, the shares of Facebook has deflated and this much potential bitcoin possesses.
