What happened to ETH?

It might take a really long time before ether could go back to that price again. This is because the ATH of ether was due to the fact that bitcoin was at it's peak at that time.
This made not only ether but all the altcoins to rise in price. Ether being second best coin was at a very high price and since the price dropped the price of ether went down too much.
If it hadn't been for the spike of bitcoin's price, ether wouldn't have gone so high. We have lost the chance to sell at such a good price.
I believe ether will definitely cross $1500 but it will take a long time until that happens and so it will be the best if just hold our coins until then.

I think the prize drop was very sharp and rise of the ETH can be sharp as the drop. When you see bitcoin moves higher prizes check ETH prize ETH/BTC is also rising. I also lost a lot on ETH and waiting my fund back

I only can say supply more higher than demand, because of what many things happen and I can't explain one by one. This is risk and reality we should deal and find the best solution not complaint. I'm not loss but my asset stuck in Eth and I can't do nothing. All activity become nightmare because have no fund to start, we have the same problem. Find the problem and take decision, your money your call.

Some hodlers sold their coin around $800 and the downfall startrd until it reached its current price now. Be patient if you have suffered a loss due to the declining price of ETH. We can only see all this happening, but can't do anything. Maybe you can only hope for the price to get better soon. No one can predict when to go up.

You have only even suffered a loss if you ended up selling at loss. ETH pretty much hit the bottom just like any other market, sure, we cannot depict the fact that is actually got hit the most when comparing most of the top coins, which was not expected actually, but in the lighter and positive perspective, I just see this as a chance to actually be buying this market at this stage which is something I believe any smart investor should be doing than panicking. When a market is at the dip, which is the time to be buying and then when people start getting greedy, then you really want to be selling.

So many things leads to the down fall of eth price but one of them is that the demand for eth got less in the market and there was a huge supply of eth, since the bear market started, people stop investing in ICO and ICO team that have raised huge eth were selling off to raise money and it got to a point where sellers are lowering their price to sell off which makes the price to go down

if you look at the decline in the past year, ethereum declined more sharply than other altcoins. and this time it happened again when the market crashed

$1000 is now difficult to get, because we know many large investors reduce investment volume in ethereum. but maybe in the future we can see if ethereum will return to a high position. for now we have to hold a lot to keep ethereum in order not to sell at low prices.

Well it is still popular so there is always a chance.
But do not get too attached to it. If there is a chance of selling it at a good number then why not then invest in a new one.
It is now just being used as a means to create ICO's. ERC20 tokens are the ones who in bloom by now. Maybe you could get your ROI back with buying those tokens with good features.
We cannot really foretell what could happen. It will always be a risk to wait.

Undoubtfully, ETH may go up. And it may also go down! I see everybody wants to get profit but in fact, there may be another bottom! I don't see the reasons for ETH to grow over $350 and to fall below $200.
