Time to time we see people in the news depicting BITCOIN as a bubble.

Trusting printed fiat money is even more delusional

Please check my post at:

https://estaciontrend.blogspot.com/2018/08/the-real-bubble-is-and-always-was.html

What do you think?

Bitcoin can not be a bubble.
Bubble is used to not to refer to a commodity but rather to a period of unsustainable and exponential price increase, followed by a fall. When you say the bubble has burst.

And many commodities at one point or another have 'bubbled' in value.

Most of these terms is used to dissuade those who are little unformed and unwilling to research properly on the subject, but work with general opinion.

Same way fiat can not be a bubble.

The post was probably trashed,(put in the waste bin) by one of our MODs due to the fact that it's probably unhelpful

Bitcoin is not in any competition with Fiat, noobs get that feeling that there's some sort of battle for supremacy between the both currencies
Bitcoin was called a bubble simply because it has the ability to rise to 200kUSD and fall to --7kUSD that same week, you would be right referring to something as volatile as that a bubble(that could burst)

Fiat is a much more stable currency which holds the economy of a nation, and controlled by the CB of that very country
Fiat is no bubble as it doesn't rise sporadically and fall the very same way it did rise

According to the classical model, the economic bubble passes through 5 stages: displacement, boom, euphoria, financial distress and revulsion.

We faced the stage of financial difficulties when the price of Bitcoin fell as fast as it grew.

Now it is impossible to say exactly how much Bitcoin actually costs, to what level its price will rise or fall. But when the majority understands this, we will be at the stage of revulsion.

I think that Bitcoin should go through these stages when becoming a global currency.

Bitcoin is not a bubble, this question has been asked over and over and the response that bitcoins is still relevant and alive for the future doesn't make sense to people. Bitcoins is here to stay and for the better as printed money is .

There are many people and they have different opinions based on their experience. The point of people compare bitcoin with bubble is that people started to use it for Ponzy schemes and other scam like that. The true is the one - one day Bitcoin will disappear and people who will not be able to cash out their investments on time will count it as bubble.

How can it be possible? I don't know who said that first the bubble thing but i have heard it like millions of times and i fed up with that. When someone loose money with bitcoin investment, he would start to say very bad things about the BTC and the cryptocurrency. The bubble think came out from someone who lost i think. Please stop using bubble word in this forum, it is making me sick.

How they conclude in this kind of conclusion which they think bitcoin is a bubble even it is not true. The person who keep on telling bitcoin is a bubble is the a kind of people who do not see the great of bitcoin.

Bitcoin is actually exhibiting signs of a bubble. It has its inflated and deflated state, and right now we are at its deflated state since it keeps on losing its value from its ATH. It will inflate once more if the price continues to be pumped, and afterwards expect it to 'pop' since correction will take place, and obviously it will lose its value just like a normal bubble would. This does not come only from those who lost their investments but also from keen observers who know what a bubble is.
