Hospitals Need to Issue Warranty

Recently my son fell ill, took him to the hospital and he diagnosed of malaria, which is a common ailment in this part of the world. He got treated and I was charged for it. Four days after, his temperature was running high again and he was vomiting this time around. Took him back to the hospital and the doctor said I need to pay some money for further treatment. So was question to him was, what happened to the payment I made earlier? Has it been used with the first visit? He could not give me a good reply.

Just we get warranty was items bought, and services provided, I think it's high time we get given warranties by hospitals especially for situations where the medication administered isn't effective enough. Warranty would ensure you don't get charged some more for a job not well done. Who shares this thought with me?

What manner of stupidity is this? If you get sick again, and get treated again, you have to pay again. The hospital didn't make your son, so they aren't responsible for any design defects; if you want a manufacturer's warranty, I guess you'll just have to ask God about it.

But he already got well after the treatmemt before you bring him back on the second time right? If yes, then I think the doctor just made his duties to cure your son and no warranty should happen. Did your son admitted on the hospital?
Maybe something happened in your part or any reason that causes why your son is sick again. Then its not the doctor’s fault anymore.

I think the issue about that the OP wants to raise is to have a better quality to the healthcare system.

Instead of imposing quality on the system, I need we need to raise the quality of our healthcare practitioners by making the education easily accessible (cheaper, low tuition fee, sufficient laboratory equipment, and facilities).

It is better also for the healthcare system less expensive, the medicines less cheaper, and the hospital more accessible.  It is so sad that we are living in a society where capitalism really manages the world.  Businessmen just want to earn money and not help people.

If that's the issue they want to raise, they've done a poor job of it. It seems to me the issue is that the OP can't get over the fact that life isn't fair and wants to take it out on the hospital, not realising (or perhaps just not caring) that imposing costs on hospitals for events beyond their control can only reduce the quality of the healthcare provided (or increase the cost of healthcare, which amounts to the same thing in the end). Hospitals have limited resources; they literally can't afford to simply give away treatments out of some misguided sense of "fairness". If they did, they'd have fewer resources to treat people who really need it, and those people would die. Is that what the OP wants?
