Especially after people bought Ethereum for $ 1400, I understand for many to lose money... This year Ethereum won't go up to $ 1000, and it's unlikely it'll even make $ 500, so I wouldn't hope.

Personally, I think that when Ether was 1400 it was cool and when it became 200 it became quite sad. And now, with regard to forecasts for the future, the broadcast should soon rise and is even higher than the price that was. until the POS is implemented and the Constantinople is available i do not see the price of ETH touching those levels. and the constantinople is getting delayed further. so lets see how the developers get to manage it

I think it is not a dream for the Ethereum to reach about $1000. But, I don't know when it will be. The price of the ETH right now is very bad, it only hits at $200. If you still can afford to keep your ethereum in your wallet, then extend your patience and wait for the next bull run that everybody is hoping to come until now no one can predict when exactly is the next big bull run to come.

Agree. ETH is a good coin and we can rest assured it has bright future. I also would recommend investing in more coins and hold them in portfolio. Diversification is the key to success.

Yes it is really a downfall or hamartia to consider what happen to the ethereum this past few months and days. But, we should still believe in the capability of this altcoin to pump up and recover from what it is now. Ethereum is a very utlized coin and there's no doubt that it will not going to get well soon.

According to the most rumors, last this year Ethereum will pump again. Noone can't perfectly says what will happen. Just will need to wait few months, now only patience is the key.

It is not even the first time that we will get to see Ethereum in this shape. It is a normal thing as the whole market has been in a downtrend state for a while, which I believe those who are smart enough, will know that this is a market they should really be trying as much as possible to get into now. It is just a matter of buying in now and being patient for the move to come, and those who have never been patient are the ones who usually end up not getting the best of any market in the long run. End of year predication is just based on how bitcoin is going to perform in the same time frame. Still, I suspect ethereum may not follow bitcoin as it has done in the past. Last time when I had observed, BTC was in down trend whereas eth was in finding new ATH. Hence, expecting by this year end may disappoint you but it will surely have $1k levels again still there could not be any assured thing as usual in crypto world.
