That's the idea of the judeo-masonic New World Order. Its not a matter of what, but when.

Government should be based on one foundational thing... total freedom for everyone except if he harms someone, damages someone else's property, or breaks a contract. The only other thing might be real threats, and this should be determined in great detail and clarity. For example, you wouldn't want your nutty neighbor building a working atomic bomb in his garage. That's a real threat. But even that should be regulated in such a way that gives the guy the absolute most freedom possible.

What is this all based on? It is based on this... AND THIS IS MOST IMPORTANT. Who can you trust to enforce laws in such a way that he will never trample on your freedom while enforcing the laws? Can you trust politicians, law-makers, law enforcement?

Let's get back to the basics, since we can't even trust the "good guys." Freedom for everyone, but proper punishment (up to and including execution) for all those who harm or damage someone else. That's it.

One other thing. Government should be required to emphatically warn people about all the ways that they might harm someone or damage his property. For example. Speed limit signs are just warning signs, but they hold strict and terrible punishment for anyone who harms another while speeding.

It should be about much more than just handling crime. Read my original post for more details.

Yes and no.

Some would abuse it because they are power hungry.

But yes, if it was people that only had intention to make the world a better place, then yea.. Why not Smiley

Maybe in a few centuries. There is no way Islamic culture is compatible to work with the West for instance. You can't integrate Sharia within law that was derived from the Enlightenment era.

Good point, but we have to start somewhere.

Here is how a decentralized governance and society could look like in my opinion:

A decentralized government could work at preferably by a delegated vote system, as not everyone will be able to have enough knowledge to vote for complicated matters. The problem here could be populist vote and by a form of delegated vote of experts, that problem could be eliminated.

Today's centralized banking system will be replaced by crypto currencies and platforms and the banking will be different in my opinion.

The economy would follow certainly a Libertarian model, meaning a free market economy, which balances itself and is not controlled by any entity like a government.

A decentralized organized society has to be very educated, but to the difference to today's educational system which focuses on skills, a decentralized society needs to be self responsible and therefore needs a different education and awareness.

Functions in a decentralized society are assigned to entities or people who have created or provided value and therefore have established trust for themselves.

Decisions are made by various active communities, that share the same ideals and goals and that maybe have been founded by a leader personality who has attained this function as described before.

I'm all for the future of decentralized governance. But, what needs to happen right now is a global experiment which breaks out of niche crypto communities and proves it's possible.

Therefore, I propose the creation of the Intergalactic Space Council. It will be a one year experiment in decentralized governance that allows anyone, anywhere to run for the first ever, truly cosmopolitan office. It can create an environment to test new ideas in voting institutions -- like 'quadratic voting' -- with real people so that we can better understand the full dynamics of this kind of system to prevent a new, tyrannical order from rising in place of the existing one.  The council will, as part of its constitutional premise, launch a satellite into space streamed via Twitch. The members of the council will be able to vote on moral resolutions that are broadcasted down.

Who's on board to help make this happen?  Smiley

Self-regulating economy is a table that tries to resist on one leg. That is why governments introduce subsidies to farmers and protective duties. Without intervention, the economy will fall apart. Or half of the planet will die until self-regulation begins to work.

Blockchain will not solve all problems. Blockchain government is ridiculous. The problem is not that everyone’s voice is heard. The problem is that the majority of votes are incompetent.

Hate to be the guy to ruin all of it, but I do doubt that this sort of thing would ever be possible to occur. Humans are going to form into factions to protect and fight for their own interests, that's just what's going to happen. So even if we were 'decentralized' -- there would still be centralized factions with people supporting them.

Yeah, maybe these would be smaller factions -- but they would form into coalition governments (like we see in parliamentary systems around the world) in order to create government.

I feel this is the shift of people.

Maybe in a few centuries. There is no way Islamic culture is compatible to work with the West for instance. You can't integrate Sharia within law that was derived from the Enlightenment era.

That's why the only world in which this could be possible would have to be a clean slate. We probably could start something like that on a new planet, an isolated colony, a big spaceship, or after a global cataclysm. Even in such favorable situation it would be very difficult to make people stop thinking about their ancestors and culture in which they were brought up.
To give an example, a dedicated Christian would like his religion to be important in the society, a white supremacist would like his race to be important, and so on. At some point people's needs would clash.
For a world government to work people would have to be selfless and we know that's impossible.

you can't decentralize government but the way of operation!! lets say you move the way government assign its data for use to blockchain that decentralizes it
can help make the operation of government more efficient and transparent!! such can also make the people involved no the arm of government needs more attention
and will be able to easily allocate resources as required not in excess. i believe decentralization of operation can help government operate more efficiently
