It is perfectly. Not planning to add a market maker to trade? Or additional exchanges?
Your project seems to me in need of this.

Yeah, they've definitely mentioned more exchanges in the pipeline, but I know in the immediate future they're concentrating on the MPS and sticking to the original roadmap (there's some pretty exciting products coming out soon).

But in parallel I am certain will we see more listings in the near future!

Is this supposed to be an anonymous blockchain powered by IoT or is it the other way around and it is IoT powered by a blockchain?

It's an anonymous blockchain that has an IoT viable algorithm (allowing for the release of things like today's miner) Smiley

IoT viable algorithm, I have to think about and study that term as I can't come up easily with the opposite. Which algorithm for example is not viable for IoT?

It's viability mainly comes from the ASIC-resistant nature of the project, and the steps the team have taken to ensure small miners stay relevant.

For example, the uPlexa team already have an emergency fork ready, should anyone develop a compatible ASIC - one which they can deploy in hours, rather than months.

On top of that (and I'm not a developer, so they may chime in here), I believe the algo used is 'kinder' on low powered devices (half iterations from the original Cryptonight iirc).

The main note from the project thus far, is that we're actually seeing delivery of these promises, and when we're surrounded by projects that simply don't deliver, I think that has to be a reason to show an interest Smiley

Is it always possible to detect active ASIC miners? If I was an ASIC developer, I would slowly deploy machines over time so that it is not easily detected.

Yes, but that hasn't been the case with any other coin. Look at Monero recently.
These people want a sharp ROI.

The point here is that the next hardfork is ready to go, immediately. There's no 6 month etc period where ASIC's can exploit the network.

Perfection in this scenario is impossible, but this greatly reduces their influence. Yes, given your scenario, a single ASIC dev could avoid detection for a period of time.

I don't want to get too bogged down with just this, either. This is just one feature of this project. The dev team have 2 straight weeks of product releases coming soon (they're literally releasing something new every day for two weeks). Not sure if that's ever been done before, but it's pretty rapid development and desire, and I'm pretty excited about it! Smiley

Ok, it is good to have an emergency plan if ASICS would take over the network, I get that! Wink

I feel having an anti-ASIC fork ready at hand is a great idea.

Who would want to take the time and expense to develop an ASIC for UPX, knowing the mining might only last a day?

235H/s on my S7  Grin
Been running my P20 Pro for nearly a week (every night) now, so far so good!

Can see great jump in volume and interest since CMC listing. Are there any plans for more exchanges?

Nice! How many coins has your S7 mined?

I don't think a new exchange is immediately coming, but it will come eventually. There are more pressing tasks being performed right now (lots of cool stuff on its way!).

i like uplexa project. im mining now for 2 weeks and  hash still low really grate time to get involved. Keep up the good work

You are right! Only 5MH right now, which is around 2500 upx per day with a regular cpu https://www.uplexamining.com/hw-benchmarks/
Have you had a go at mining on your mobile phone yet? I have tried several models and made 500 UPX already Cheesy you should try

yeah, just imagine your UPX going up to 1 doolar? Smiley) (which is not irrealistic, and don't even give me any "max supply", it doesn't mean anything here... or if you want to think that way, check the "max supply" of fiat coins and bank notes...)

I will be happy with $0.05 Cheesy

One feedback thou. I would change title of this thred.
When I first saw it i ignored, because i thought it was browser only mining.

It should be Privacy Blockchain Powerdd by IoT.

0.01$ sounds also great and it is not a matter of if but when.

Be aware that this Network hash rate will be gone very soon and probably never coming back.

uPlexa was added to a CPU only mining software:

https://www.hostero.eu/cpu-mineable-coins

Too bad it is payed if you want more than one instance of it.

That's a fact and I'm so happy for myself that not everyone knows that yet.

I just asked because I was wondering if something new popped up.  With this kind of develpers we can expect something new at least every month Smiley

Hey there uPlexa community,

we want to announce that we added UPX to our pool network.

upx.kiramine.com

Our pools are based on high-end servers which are located in one of the biggest datacenter in europe.
We are always reachable via email support@kiramine.com, via Discord https://discord.gg/9mBczSr

Our Min. Payout is 100 UPX so smaller miners will also get a chance to get some coins.

We wish happy mining!

Greetings
