2018 the year of correction?

What is bad year? There is no such thing like bad year because what happens with the crypto currencies is the output of surrounding nature where the investors matters, government decisions matters and much more things. This year things are odd because major decisions are being taken on the matter of ETF by SEC and the increased SEC involvement into the Cypriot currencies is actual thing making people uncomfortable to make the investment into it. May be this is why it is taking longer than usual for the crypto to overcome the current situation. This is just my opinion about it because there is no other thing which is as big as this one.

Almost everybody is predicting that this year will be starting a bull run again, and that is why big manipulators doesn't want you people to be with that so they will try to make you wait until everybody losses hope and get out of the market.

We still lucky because bitcoin prise not too low but it is quite stable now. Time will come,maybe next year bitcoins value will be more higher than last 2017. Let's just wait and see. Only time will tell if what will be happen to bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.

i think that to bounce as high as possible it can happen, given its bright future. but indeed during 2018 a deep correction occurred, and finally touched 61% on Fibonacci

Don't ever look at what other people are saying. When most people were saying that Bitcoin won't go below 10000 USD it went. When they were saying that the bottom at 6000 was reached we went lower to 5800. When they were saying in August that Bitcoin is rallying again and the bear market is over it went down a day later.
A year of correction is not something new or uncommon. 2 years of correction like 2014 and 15 would ba a bad thing.

I hope Bakkt will be the trigger for the Bull market and it will push us back to a even higher ATH in 2019. 

I agree that it is fair that the market faced a huge correction, but it's been a really long time now with no real perspective of things changing for better. As for Bakkt, I don't know, it looks like another proposal that will get rejected. And from what I read Bakkt is just about some other bitcoin futures, and futures are not very healthy for btc, since they tend to ignore the real price and completely manipulate it by agreeing on things in advance. This can be confusing for people who will try to trade btc for the first time. And besides, SEC rejections do make sense, because bitcoin is not any kind of stock (security).

Well, the mathematical and historical forecast has not yet come, it indicates the year 2020.At the moment we are in a zone of consolidation.Excellent price level +-6000.If we still hold on for about a month at this level, then it will become too strong.The time of movement at this level is unknown, but the longer it goes the stronger the growth.

The market can grow constantly, the falling in this year is natural process without which new cicle with new bull run can't happen. Only sad that a lot of people bought on the high because hype and lost their money, most of them are usual people that believed in crypto.

It is very obvious that 2018 is the year of price correction for cryptocurrency because of an over bought and too much hype last year where even technical analyst was also surprised and always reminding us that this is to be expected. Even stock market experience huge losses this year so it will also be applied to cryptoccurency. If you analysis the price fluctuations of bitcoin in this year . It's seems to be the 2018 is the corrected process as compared to the last year .But the small fluctuations happened every month of this year.We will hope , atleast a new changes will occur in this year and it will forward with the next year. Rightly put. I don't think anyone saw this dip getting to this point and day. It has surpassed predictions by months and we actually don't know what next. To be candid, I don't even look at how battered bitcoin has become. I just wish other cryptos can just push up, even if bitcoin doesn't. Look at the CMC now. All the cryptos getting listed daily there don't even get up to $1 value. Most of them are in tenth of cents or cents. It's a sad one.

This is indeed a bad year for crypto currency and digital assets cause even a major investor pulled off in a cryto project in the last minute that's why the price surge to 20000 dollars but quickly plunged. But even so bitcoin has positive news like canada and Australia accepting it as payment. Goldman sach invested in crypto currency. Maybe crypto's are preparing for a big bullish run.

people only make predictions and speculations, while what happens in the market is in accordance with the real conditions on demand and supply. You don't have to believe completely with the speculation of a lot of people outside, believing in your own calculations is better, I just hope this year there is at least a recover that can lift the price of bitcoin back to $10k, this is not a prediction, this is hope

It maybe interpreted as such, but one should remember the nature of the market, it is unpredictable, no one knows what to expect during the trading market, it the volume of investment that really matters which sometime served as indicators for market price value of such coin to goes up or goes down. Volatility of the market is another thing to consider, we still have two months to wait for our final market status....

If we look at the experience of the previous few years where prices Bitcoin always increase dramatically 4 years once, if in the year 2017 priced Bitcoin has increased very hard, then 4 years later will back increase dramatically again, so I think It will happen in the year 2021.

True that. I mean BTC it self pumped up toalmost 20,000 USD now we are suffering from that enormouse spike with a year long price correction. In hindsight, i think the price adjustment or correction is over soon. In the mean time, i myself just by Bitcoins and Ethereum left and right. Who knows when the bull market starts right?
