Where's the best place to exchange LTC <-> BTC?

I found https://btc-e.com/exchange/ltc_btc quite useful.
Thanks.  Have you successfully exchanged anything there?  Do you know of any other options?

And adoption comes from rational folks at the helm, and the universal appeal of not having to sell your soul to join the club (cough, cough sc). Certainly miles along the path of becoming the silver standard of the cryptocoin world.
Who sold their soul? Care to explain?
If you buy SC's RS and just restart the blockchain, and BAM, you just gave him money.
And if your a miner, Well, You've wasted ALOT of fucking time.

The "sold your soul" Comes from the hundreds of trolls that RS hired to talk about how great SC's are
Fucking. Sockpuppets.
If you remember correctly the only reason why the network was shut down and frozen in the first place was because of criminal 51% threat from Artfroz and BitcoinExpress. Thats right, THE ONLY REASON WHY SC1 WAS SHUT DOWN IS BECAUSE OF TROLLS LIKE BTCEX. We rather shut down the network, then have idiots like BTCex with enough hashing power "play a joke" on the network, and loose everything. Instead he has now helped development on SC, and made the network invincible to his "shenanigans".

it wasnt btcx... i know this for a fact

@btc_novice - i have traded at btc-e many times, never had any problems what so ever.

No, the only place i have exchanged on was TradeHill.  I seen http://www.cryptoxchange.com/ get released, I don't know much about it though, but it does do LTC <-> BTC as well as NMC.  Their teaser seemed very professional, but you never know... but BTC-E seems to be the most popular.

Is LTC under attack? The price has plummeted recently (like, past few hours).

This is what I meant by "under attack". I'll keep my litecoin for as long as the threats from the solidcoin userbase fail to materialize (don't have much really). I kind of got busted from iXCoin and i0Coin though, so I won't mine any more.

Although both have dropped, SC and LTC are still neck in neck.

For a block chain ready for the BTC collapse and ready to replace it, it sure is funny as hell SC is struggling to compete with Litecoin.

Just look at the price trend, maybe you need to push LTC a little bit more?

Every alternate Blockchain right now has the disadvantage of being tied to bitcoin, every time the BTC price goes down the alternate chains do as well since people want to get out. Decoupling would need a currency to attract people who wouldn't be already interested in bitcoin.

There are already trading possibility directly to USD for some altchains, but the volume there is to low to have an effect.
