The FUERGY device for households consists of a data generator, AC / DC converter, smart meter, inverter, built-in battery, and alternative power source. (If the customer already has a battery and an alternative power source with a smart meter and an inverter, the FUERGY AI-unit will be connected to these devices and will control them.)

FUERGY device requires a WiFi, LAN or mobile network connection. In the event of connection failure, the device will continue to work in the offline mode and optimize the user’s consumption. In offline mode, FUERGY device works without the option of trading. Once connection is restored, it automatically returns to full functionality. Community energy sharing is a mutually decentralized connection of FUERGY devices into a global network of local communities where each device communicates with its nearest devices. This community has a maximum of 5 members — usually the 5 closest points of origin. Unless energy needs are mitigated within the community, the demand for purchasing / selling electricity is shifted to the next closest community.

The FUERGY BUSINESS version of our device will be available to customers in Q2 / 2019 and FUERGY HOME version is planned to be available in Q3 / 2019. Right now we are performing tests and fine-tuning the first versions of the FUERGY device in our R&D centre in Zilina .

You will be able to buy the FUERGY HOME both, with or without the PV panels, or in case you already have PV panels as well as a battery storage, it will be possible to buy just FUERGY HOME LITE - it will connect and control already installed devices, adding all the features that customer would otherwise acquire by purchasing the basic Home system. Problem with today's renewable energy systems is that once the source of electricity (e.g. wind or sun) is not available, the production of energy from these sources decreases or stops completely. For such situations, there always have to be a backup source of electricity (most of the times it is a fossil fuel generator) otherwise, we would face a blackout. Another problem occurs when the energy is generated in the time when you don't need it and vice versa (you could read about it in our post about The Duck Curve). In both cases, you can solve the problem with the inconsistency of renewables by adding some kind of energy storage. Part of the FUERGY HOME device is also a battery storage (or it can be connected to existing one). It helps to optimize usage of this storage and in automatic mode can also trade with other FUERGY devices - so in case your battery is empty, it can buy energy from another FUERGY for a better price than you would get by buying it from your energy supplier. It also work the other way around - if you have excess of energy and someone (with FUERGY device) does not you can sell him some (manually or automatically).

So the final answer to your question is that the energy is from an energy storage and was generated by renewables. FUERGY device helps you to utilize your storage more efficiently and share the energy with other devices, so you don't need to use fossil fuel energy even if your own sorage is depleted or you can help others to do so if you have an excess energy.
