Ghash.io gives payouts for the merged mining too at their 0% pool fee aswell. And in terms of blocks found they find anywhere from 10-30% of a days blocks. Longest block I've seen there was about 4 hours.

I agree, for a group buy a pool with more steady payouts would be better. These are the big ones, ghash.io, BTCguild, Eligius (at least NMC)...

Seems we hit a round of bad luck. The current rewards are less than a half of that what would be expected. I hope it is over soon, so we can to move to a pool with a steadier payout.
