You must delete 2 files in order to catch up to the current chain.

peers.dat
netfulfilled.dat

Then edit the .conf file with only the following nodes.

Restart the wallet and let it catch up.

Up to what block height ?

The problem with the 2018 wallet is the hang-up at height 499,999.
It was fixed. New wallet was released that helped to continue the chain. There was a small hitch in the code.
I have a linux version and windows version.
Sorry, no source code. I can see if I can find it. (yes, it is needed for pools... I know)

As I mentioned. Please delete peers.dat and netfulfilled.dat, then simply run the wallet. No new chain. Nothing lost.

Does anyone want this to survive?
Everyone needs to be running the latest wallet, v0.12.4. The old wallet has broken code.

Me and 3 other people were able to mine past height 499,999 in Nov '21, but then gave up since no one else wanted to keep it alive. Now, I am trying again. I have a pool that wants to host it but with no peers to sync with (and for some reason it does not want to connect to my IP, must be the lack of full-node code...) we need the official seed node to keep it going.
