This is going to be really weird but I was wondering if there are any programmers here that know of any good guides or c I kd suggest how I can make open source apps that are productive.

I'm going to try to write exhaustive code on things relating to bitcoin and then other things (not using anything other than standard libraries). I've been reading up on things that have gone dangerously ignored like heartbleed in OpenSSL and a few other things and am wondering as to the best way to make programs that can be understood by other people.

Is it good to release a book documenting what everything does or to add a file after every not of code that explains it or is there something better entirely?
