50k MN collateral and Xevan algo appear to be new info?

I herd it was supposed to be PIVX based, so this should be a good refresh for a 2014 coin

where you found info about 50K?
at first it was 10K, then 20K and now 50K
in 6 months it will be 100K and still no progress

There was a public github that now went hidden, so perhaps they are coding it now.  However, it mentioned 50k and was programmed to hash Xevan, so it will be curious to see what Hempcoin finally comes up with.

if you go to http://www.hempcoin.org/ and click the download wallet button you get a file called hcwin32.exe, it is version 2.1.1.0-gcc, it's a 32 bit wallet, but it works fine on win64 systems. There is also the qt project file on https://github.com/hempcoin-project/THC which I use on my linux mint system.

Actually the one on hempcoin.org (hcwin32.exe) is version 2.0.0.1 which has the staking regression bug that was fixed in 2.1.1.0, which is available here https://github.com/hempcoin-project/THC/releases in both 32 or 64 bit!

I have no clue why the version on the website is still not the latest, I know this because about 3 months ago I used 2.0.0.1 after the previous version couldnt stake properly, only to find that even 2.0.0.1 had the same bug, so about 50 days ago I found version 2.1.1.0 that actually works.

It would be nice if the dev would actually update the wallet version from their website...

I would advise anyone that is about to stake (the 45 days wait) or even if you are already in it, don't start any other version wallet than 2.1.1.0 otherwise you might lose your staking as it only works once then resets the dates as of that day and then you have to wait another 45 days.
Also, could dev or anyone with proper rights fix the links in OP?

eh, say what you want but a 2014 coin relaunching to MN's will be pretty great news.

You can argue the team was small and undeveloped, but there is plenty of indication a release is in the works.

I'm a buy the news, sell the hype kinda buy, so I just bought up 50k anticipating MN's to come.

We'll see if it pays off cause there hasn't been an official announcement yet.

50k now, but any ROI is better than none, and mixing a distributed coin from 2014 is good for rarity and price. Not to mention the pay system they want to implement.  Good things take time.

50% coins locked would create bigger demand and better long-term value.

They through out arbitrary numbers like 20k and basically said meh it could be more...we don't know yet. They should have just said nothing at all, going back and forth is too much of indication of trying to manipulate the price.

Delusional bag holders need to realize that this has been a pretty sub par implementation of masternodes and just because it's a coin from 2014 doesn't make it any better.

DMD for example implemented masternodes LAST YEAR, and came out with the collateral amount and never changed it. New masternodes coins are launched literally everyday, at this point it's nothing special. They have been saturated since late last year.

I hold ZERO THC, but if I did have some I would look to get out on the latest volume and price spike. Sorry for the FUD, just my opinion, been watching the developments of this for some time now and have not been so impressed.

Have to agree with this, as an outside observer it seems unfair to change it after they put a number out there, even though i do think that a VERY HIGH collateral is better for long term growth.

the last time they said that hardwork coin will masternodes. maybe they don't want a lot of owners of masternodes . therefore, they are silent. anyway, I bought THC anyway. the price is much cheaper than 5000 SAT. and it is unlikely to be cheaper than 800 SAT
