how i can mine in solo-mining?

Hi,

first you have to download and sync the wallet.

now you have to create a hempcoin.conf file and put it in C:\Users\**your_username**\AppData\Roaming\Hempcoin folder.
write in the .conf file :

rpcuser=***a_username_you_want_to_use***
rpcpassword=***a_password_you_want_to_use***
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
daemon=1
server=1
listen=1
addnode=54.186.62.109
addnode=88.208.236.108
addnode=198.50.132.65
addnode=69.10.58.157
rpcport=12055

then you have to type the username, password, ip and port in to your miner config.

with minerd it looks like this :

minerd.exe -o http://127.0.0.1:12055 -a scrypt -O ***a_username_you_want_to_use***:***a_password_you_want_to_use***

let your wallet open, start your miner!

now the miner is solo mining and it could take a while until you find a block!
so if you dont have much KH/s you will find no blocks... then its better for you to mine with a pool.

There is an update to the wallet that is not quite finished. Once we're back up it should be on all those exchanges. I suggest using Bittrex

I solo mine hempcoin on port 12055. I always get "no suitable long-poll found" no matter what coin I solo mine. I don't think this matters. I have no problem solo mining.

if you put one of the hempcoin pools as a backup pool in your config, your wallet will get the long poll from them and this message should disappear.  It should also say "Connected... with LP" in your miner.

Something's not working for ya.  You should be hitting blocks every 5-10 minutes.

Running hempcoin with -server ?

I'm not sure about this one, but if your wallet is encrypted, do you have to unlock it to solomine??   - this might be your problem.

We have 5 nodes total and some are checkpointed (some are hidden IP). Most folks are solo mining THC. Hemppool is still down. It was an issue with the pool producing stake. Working on it still. Will have it up tomorrow and post it.
