FileCoin Project
http://dvarenysh-blog.ru/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/programma_shifrovanija_dannyh.png

Still mining @ your CPU, GPU or ASIC? Forget about them! HDD & Internet channel are now your best friends!
We are proud to present totally new system: Decentralized Encrypted File Storage - FileCoin

What is it?
You getting software, witch is wallet, file storage, mining & cryptographic tool in one:
1) If you want just mine coins - give a part of your channel & HDD space for encrypted storage, used by FileCoin network, and some % of your CPU for crypto operations -> mining process started. You are getting coins proportionally between your shared resources and summary network resources.
2) You are getting your coins to standard bitcoin-like address. You can send them like any other cryptocurrency, buy & sell @ exchanges, pay in services, witch support FileCoin
3) If you need to save your private data somewhere in network anonymously - you are in right place. Just use our file storage feature, and your file is highly encrypted on many differents hosts, you really does not know where. Cryptographic algorithms encrypts your data and torrent-like network between FileCoin wallets saves your file.
4) Mining proccess is simple, as I said - you just have wallet or service/daemon started, witch supports file encryption, storaging and transport
5) Also you can receive Coins from other users, if you are hosting special functions, like backup, version history, etc.

How does it works?
This is hybrid technology between bitcoin & bittorrent, witch makes your data highly encrypted and hosted elsewhere.
Smart algorithm always moves file parts between hosts, before last three hosts with some unique data in network are down.
Minimum three hosts has copy of each block, RAID5-like block storage system
Your files are always available by your FileCoin address & encryption key
Any file, uploaded in system has magnet-like link, used by software to get file back
Network desides, where parts of your file (not whole) must be hosted
Each file separates to standard blocks, witch are encrypted and sent to different host

Features
 - Files encrypted before sending to network
 - Storage encrypted @ every host
 - CPU resources of network are generating unique data for file encryption
 - HDD & internet channel resources shared to make bigger profit
 - Only network knows, where are your files physically are
 - Easy file sharing between addresses
 - Corporate or private usage
 - File version history, data backup, more hosts for your data, payed by FileCoins
 - Easy files access like @ disk
 - We are accepting feature requests

Technical Data
Used resources: CPU, HDD, INET
Maximum coins: 50,000,000 FC
Emission time: 50 years
Maximum network storage space: UNLIMITED
Maximum network summary channel: UNLIMITED
Reward: changes proportional with network power grow.
Premine for rewards: 1%
Premine for IPO: 3%
Standard IPO formula - you are getting FileCoins proportionnaly with your IPO

Exchanges
- http://www.upbit.org/en// - first professional cryptocurrency exchange platform
- We need more exchanges for FileCoin now. First exchange rewarded by 100 FCs, second by 50 FCs, third by 25 FCs

Premine addresses
- Here will be premine addresses to control cashflow

Development stages
1) Some public alpha versions with testnet
    - testing coin module
    - testing and debugging coin emission algo
    - testing file encryption module
    - testing file travelling module
    - closed source
2) Some public beta versions with testnet
    - debugging
    - testing modules as one product
    - closed source
3) Public release-beta with worknet
    - coin start. wallet released, hosts started, growing network
    - open source
4) Next-beta with worknet
    - adding features
    - debugging
    - open source

IPO rules
IPO starts from first alphas and goes up to first public beta version. Please send us private message about your transactions. If you want IPO before alphas - you are welcome.

This is not a good idea. Just because a file is encrypted does not mean that its owner would welcome multiple copies of it saved on random people's computers. Whoever came up with this idea is not wise at all.

Of course, using google disk is better idea! Centralized, government controlled, unencrypted by default. But in some cases millions of people using it. Do you know why?

Look upper, whole information is there. We started test modules in closed team-only alphas, now we are at stage 0, trying to unite bitcoin code with torrent.

Yes. It is easier to hold a company like Google liable for any wrongdoing than a random person that someone is connected to via a P2P network.

If you don't have data, that better you don't know where it is physically, does not mean, that nobody does. Sometimes you need send information anonymously - this is the best way.

Too good to be a scam  Huh

Why do you think it is scam?

Because you haven't detailed anything about the protocol or how it's going to work. Demonstrate your ability through screen recordings of the client working properly.

Also, you haven't detailed how proof of work is going to work in this situation. Nothing at all.

So, in conclusion, this is a scam and please treat it as such.

[insert obligatory 69.5 BTC quote here]

Ok, some more project details to be stolen :-) in update. As I said before we have only very early team-alphas. But we work hard.

If you're basing your code on Bitcoin or any altcoin, then you're bound to operate under an open source license anyway. No one can steal something that's free.

Ok, I missed some of that detail about closed source through stage 2, then open source.  Sorry.   But it still wasn't clear whether you had actually written any code yet.

Are you saying that the IPO stays open through the end of development stage #1, which you call "public alpha versions with testnet"?  Can you confirm potential investors will have the opportunity during this stage #1, while the IPO is still open, to see the software in action before deciding whether to invest?
