I only remember about Steemit. I'm not a writer but basically, that's the first writing platform that has allowed to earn their own native token and has a value.
I can still see the website is up and there's a continuous publication of articles there but with what I've heard from some writers, it's very hard to cope up there these days.

See, as long as you know your subject, content should not be a problem, and there is no big secret behind making it interesting, one just needs conversational ease with the topic at hand. As also Intense research, a lot of reading, and a genuine interest. Blogging is all about a unique voice, not exclusive talent.
