Do I understand correctly, launch is at 8 PM and then roughly 8 hours of mining with 0 rewards and then solo mining until someone makes 5k and launches a masternode?

i wouldn't mine anything that offered zero rewards... but don't these things usually zip through.. because difficulty will need time to re-adjust so there's be no blocks for about (PUT A NUMBER HERE) days; If nobody mines it.
yes, essentially it's dead time, but it will go quickly. No need to waste energy mining it. The reason we aren't just premining through the blocks is for transparency.

How difficulty is retargeted?
I wonder if first blocks will take exactly 2 minutes each or they may be found faster.

Calculated every block using DGW. Expect it to take the full time. In testing it went faster than expected but I can't promise anything.

What pools are ready?
None as of yet. Part of the chain must be cpu mined. Pools should be up soon.

We are almost through the 250 empty blocks. Rewards should start flowing soon. After that we will get a few masternodes up and pool mining can start. Thanks to everyone cpu mining through their wallet right now!

@everyone We have found a likely solution that involves a small chain rollback and masternode setup. Pools will get the updates before the public. You may lose a portion of the coins you mined but we will be able to reimburse those. I'll keep you posted.

Chain repaired, mining now active at https://minermore.com/pool/HYDR/  If you lost coins during the chain repair, there is going to be a channel on discord where we will swap out any lost coins. Should be smooth sailing from here on.

Good job!
Don't mind little hiccups, it's big deal to launch a coin!

Good work, good news for a team that has to fix the chain responds to the problem, some people leave this coin because it does not get any after mining, but it looks like this problem is already fixed.

Something is wrong with the pool.
It shows network hashrate as as 5.3 GH/s and pool hashrate as 8.6 GH/s.

Based on last 30 blocks found on network, pool found only ~65%.

Possibly rejected shares are part of the pool hashrate?
