To me, eth is something destined for death soon, however, the decentralised computing parts of it does seem fairly interesting. Does none know if there are any good podcasts that can take you through how the blockchain works or am I better off reading the whitepaper?

I watched this video and it seems quite interesting: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=-_Qs0XdPpw8

 I am reading mastering ethereum, which is a very good book by Antonopoulos.
You can read it for free here

I also made this post about ethereum fees;

Thanks both of you.

I saw that thread yesterday but I do a lot of reading and I’d kind of like to listen/watch stuff as apposed to reading it...

Vitalik Buterin likes to do interviews a lot. He has many interviews where he explains ethereum as a "world computer"

He really has many interviews
This is a classic:

And this one, by Ethereum co founder Gavin wood

Thanks bitmover, that’s quite interesting. He looks a bit scared of the audience but they look like they’ll definitely be useful and are quite nice and short.

I agree, he definitely looks intimidated in that interview, as sometimes he  Shows difficulty in expressing himself.

 thats a very informative interview for people who wants to know more about ethereum, and the audience and the interviewer are very respectful to him. Definitely a good interview. I consider him a super genius. He knows a lot about different subjects, like economics
