it seems they were starting a scam by premining a lot of coins to be dummped once traction to hold and the coin got some users.
Glad the truth is out and in the open, Just found out but didn't see anything here stating the delay/scam/crap.

To clarify - screenshots were circulating, showing that "someone else" had control of the TNGO premine, and are trying to extort money from the developers. However, this is not an issue - anyone can copy a codebase and start that chain from block 0 and start the premine, this does not mean their transactions will be accepted once connected to nodes on the main chain. To summarize, this is fear-mongering at best and does NOT pose any issue or threat to the TNGO blockchain. We delayed our launch for 24 hours out of caution, and will be up and running again soon

No one should have the premine except the DEVS. By releasing the uncompleted wallet, this allowed for the takeover.  This clearly shows that Noone knows what they are doing in the coin.
The genesis block was dated for "Sun Mar 10 14:53:26 2019", yesterday was Mar 19th, 9 days later... Did we forget to premine? Forget to finsih the coding??? Who releases a wallet from block 0 and doesn't code in the correct chain....
And even before the wallet was released, there was already signs of a SCAM. The wallet is clearly a fork of another altcoin with bad coding, lots of exploits have already been found. No one ever tried to "extort" anyone for money,
If you read the transcript, its states, "So it seems we PWNED your Network. Want your PREMINED BACK? DM US!" They could of just wanted cookies, or maybe they wanted to
STOP YOU FROM SCAMMING EVERYONE...
TANGO, Your best options is to Stop, Reevaluate your entire Coin, Team, Idea, And make it atleast SEEM REAL..
NOT THIS BS with Lies, "next generation cryptocurrency, Millions of users coming, Worldwide Adoption plan, Tipping?"
